Looking through the forum, there appears to be alot of individuals who were not selected for the Closed Alpha. I may know why. I know the selection is random, but I signed up for the alpha months ago. I was surprised to find out I was not selected.

I would get emails from For Honor, informing me of new activities or promos...ect. But when I took a closer look, I found that my Uplay account had not been verified with my email. For those with that are in the Alpha, can you confirm this? Also, if you have not been selected, were you also not verifying your email with Uplay.

Hey Colin! Good observation but that is more of a local problem than a master problem. No one is guaranteed a spot in the Closed ALPHA, and that is the sole reason majority people were unfortunately not selected. If I'm not mistaken, you didn't have to sign in to uPlay in order to register for the ALPHA/BETA, so I believe they are two different beasts. I could be wrong, because I originally forgot I even signed up.

I have to agree with David here.
I was invited last time, under the same circumstances.

I actually made my Uplay account for the Tech Test as soon as I was invited.
Like David said, they're entirely different beasts.
