Local Voice ( IE speak verbally taunt your opponents )

I have a few suggestions and or questions that are going to be quite late to the discussion and probably mentioned prior. For that reason I will address each in their own thread that way if its been addressed already someone can toss a link and we can kill it there.

First I personally think it would be fantastic to be able to actually talk to players in close proximity through Voice communication. This not only allows an additional form of realism to the combat but could prove quite fun to taunt opponents b4 a battle begins.

If anything the ability to speak hear your opponent for a few seconds after killing them would also be cool. How ever it could feel a bit odd having a "dead" player speaking to you from the heavens. Another idea to keep the immersion realistic while including this feature would be to only have it activate during executions?

This would probably rip me way out of the immersion, and it'd probably be full of trolls and people that wanna make your day worse. But if it happened to be in the game anyway, 1. it could be extremely comical, at least a few times until it gets old, and 2. it better have a toggle, oh my god.

I agree, a option to togle it off/on would be needed, both in game of each player and in settings for team/enemy team options.

Oh ya I should have mentioned that. ALWAYS the option to toggle on/off. I can definitely see it becoming a HUGE troll thing. Hearing the pure disappointment from your opponent would be fantastic though lol!

Especially with the "no voice chat after death" thing, I'd love to hear a FUUUUUUuuuuu- trailing off as their voice is muted.

This sounds more like an issue with Team communication which is a entirely different topic........

You're scanning the battlefield looking for opponents fit to rest their neck upon your blade when you hear a noise carried by the wind. You whip your head around and squint at the horizon.

In the waves of heat you spot a shimmering group of Samurai, and as they stride purposefully in your direction you hear a melody fading up...

It's Eminem's hit 2005 single Butt Like That in an audio quality somewhat similar to a barrel of sharpened gravel being dropped directly into your ear canals. You begin to sweat profusely beneath your helmet, spin around on your heels, and take off in the opposite direction in pure fear of MLG Boy and MTN Dew Squad, coming to no-scope your sorry rear.

I don't really see a use for it if you have group voice chat already, the only reason to talk to the other team is to **** talk. Well maybe asking for a 1v1 but that'd be like 1% of the time.

Also it should be off by default. The Division has it on by default and it's a horrible landscape of ****ty music, eating/mouth sounds and one-sided conversations.

PS: It's usually called proximity chat as far as I've seen.
