I don't want to feed you, not even a crumb, but I can't help myself. Seriously, sp--pybrown, you add nothing here with this.
I don't like censorship in any form and it goes against my nature to see a thread locked and fellow posters get infractions etc. However, it is you and a very few others that are performing a kind of censorship on this forum. You mainly refuse to talk about anything to do with this game, continuously spamming your tired and worn out gripes and your butt-hurt. self-entitled garbage is drowning out any kind of sensible discussion that actually might, you know, help.
Go find a game company and game that you're actually interested in. You've made your mind up that Ubisoft and this game aren't for you. You've told us, we get it, it's a shame but there you go. Hanging around to keep telling us? That's just coming across as petulant attention seeking and you do seem to be more mature and intelligent than that.
The way I see it is, a lot of the problems these franchises have are rooted in the company's policy.Originally Posted by AI BLUEFOX Go to original post
Eg. Why did they make Siege the way they did? Because they are aiming to make more money as a company. Can't blame them for doing that but abandoning the fanbase is what I'm questioning. Wouldn't it be possible to make a casual game but add options to make the game more entertaining to the gamers who made it possible for the devs to continue developing these titles?
I get that you guys are getting tired of this (and I'm sensing that you might be having a bad day) but it's fanboys like yourself that are contributing to the absolute rape of the Tom Clancy games. Just my opinion.
I made this thread because that other thread got locked before I could voice the above opinion. If you don't want to see this, why'd you open the thread?
Edit. I see the moderatorship's bias problematic too.
I'm a R6 Vet and I still play Siege, no one is forcing me to buy R6 credits to buy a skin. I play and use my renown to buy them and if the skins are paying only I don't buy them.
Only thing I miss is the one bullet one death my I still have my fun playing it with my friends and my team that are also r6 vets.
You really don't want me to voice my opinion on what I really think of Ubi-Softs current fanbase. I already got a warning for it last time I did because I didn't mince words. Some people claim that Ubi Soft is out of touch with their fanbase, but thats not really how I see it at all. They are out of touch with the fans that MADE these titles popular in the first place as you correctly point out, the old schoolers which are few and far between these days. A company operates by giving their customers what they want, and the creatures that currently make up the majority of Ubi Softs customers are an absolute joke and contributed to the franchises downfall.Originally Posted by Sp--pyBrown Go to original post
It's nice to call "joke" the people who still likes Ubisoft games, cosplayers, streamers, vets and all others Ubisoft fans that think otherwise than you do !
Maybe you're the joke and that's it, stop being simple minded and move on, you don't like what Ubisoft does now then go see somewhere else if the grass is greener and let the others people be.
Why wasting your time here.
Well, I've come to realize that I don't like being grumpy and angry about games. Being mad at Ubisoft for screwing up the TC franchises is ultimately kind of pointless since it's their IPs and they can do what they want with them - more important than that though is that I don't have to buy their products if they don't appeal to me. I DESPISE Rainbow Six Siege...but I know that I'm not the target audience for the game, and that the target audience they went after really like the game. I don't get it, I don't understand it, but many people really like Siege. Since the game doesn't appeal to me, I won't drag the new community down with my negative attitude toward the game and instead direct my positivity toward exciting CQB titles like Epsilon. If a Siege sequel is announced I'll offer my views and opinions with the knowledge that if they don't do what I like that I can vote with my wallet and ignore the title. It's sad to not like a new entry into one of my all-time favorite franchises but what can you do?
Wildlands intrigues me greatly. I find the idea of a systemic open world that I can interact with in any way that I want to be incredibly exciting from a tactical standpoint. I still have HUGE concerns with this title (AI, squad commands/control, and how systemic the world is going to really be) but I'm just really eager to see how this game turns out. This game has amazing potential, but I'm not too concerned if it ends up being disappointing. I plan on renting the game from GameFly so there's no real downside - if I like it I'll keep it and if I don't I'll send it back. Easy.![]()
@Dan, the main thing is you aren't on the R6 forum constantly telling the players that they are the problem and running a toxic verbal vendetta against the people who created the game. Some people are though and they come across the same as some of the guys here. Nothing is or ever will be right for them.
@sp--pyBrown, no not a bad day. I am honestly disappointed that someone with the obvious knowledge and potential to make great contributions decides instead to mainly make jibes from the sidelines. I kind of understand it, because there is a lack of information being released about the aspects of the game that you'd like to see, but it doesn't help. It stifles constructive feedback and derails threads.
@Cortexian Did you read Dcopymope's post when you decided that thread went off the topic? I'm pretty sure "Ubisoft" was mentioned in it more than a couple timesLol.
Which is why I made this thread. It is somewhat frustrating how little the devs interact with the community though, yes. It is what it is.Originally Posted by AI BLUEFOX Go to original post
