    Progression – Leveling up
Every hero has their own progression. The more you play with a hero, the more experience points you will get. Getting experience points will level up your hero and get access to Feats and Customization elements. (Materials, Color Palette, Engravings, Symbols, Paint Patterns)

Every 20 levels, a hero gets a Reputation level and his level are reset to Level 1. Getting the first Reputation level will give access to Loadouts. Once a Hero get to Reputation 5, he will unlock a specific Outfit.

Experience points can be acquired by completing a match (Duel, Brawl or Dominion), performing actions on the battlefield (Guard break, Parry, etc.) and doing action according to the game mode (Renown points in Dominion only). These points are awarded at the end of a match.

You can also get experience points from Orders, they will also be awarded at the end of a match, if the requirements have been met.

    In LOVE with For Honor

Just out of curiosity (also because I couldn't find the right thread to ask this question), is there going to be anything to showboat later down the road, that we were Alpha Testers + Beta Testers? I already am getting three friends to join me on this amazing journey, but I thought i'd ask the question. If it hasn't been put in, is there still a possibility it can be added later so we can show our support an additional way? (i.e. emblems/ banner/ etc.)

By the way, have I said how excited I am to play this game?

    Player Skill Balance

Will players be matched based on ranking so beginners aren't being demolished by veterans?

Will we gain progression while playing against BOTS as well ? Kind of like "PvE" farming. Or is it limited to PvP.

Why is it that when I get the most "takedowns" or points in a game/match I do not get any special gear or scavenge items at the end? this does not make sense to me, I have no reason to play competitively this way.

    trading items for XP

So it has happened a couple times where i trade items for XP and then it undergoes an endless buffer. I had to restart the game in order for it to function beyond that point again.

trade betwin players in one party?

I hit renown 10 but nothing unlocked for me. It took about 24 hours and I played with all characters. I think there should be more levels or something. It seemed easy.

First, I have to say I love that there is the progression sysetm, because unlocking a cool new skill with leveling up feels rewarding. Definitely keep it.

I also like the general direction it is going. Customisation as a priority, not simply higher stats. That is the correct way.

I do have some problems with Item progression though. High-level items seem to offer a clear advantage over low-level items, and it takes quite long to get them. They are also character-locked. I fear this will lock a player like me, who does not have a lot of time to play, into playing just one character. Otherwise I'll feel like I'm not getting anywhere while my friends "run away" in progression.

My point is, please do not offer the huge stat increases at the end, rather keep it like the Feats system, where you start with a useful feat and just unlock "sidegrades" in gear too. This might be hard to accomplish though.

Either way, I like the system as it is now, because I am certain that it will keep the game interesting and rewarding for a very long time. The Feats unlocks are great, the renown system is a cool thing and the whole customisation keeps getting better as you play. Good job!

I like that we unlock feats just by playing naturally. There is no non-sense like "doing some especific stuff 3 times in a match." Gratz for not commiting this proggression crime, a bad habbit that some recent games still have.

I also like that we start with a feat in each level, instead of starting naked. However, it's bad that we don't choose the order in which we unlock feats.
I would like to either choose freely, or choose one level 1, then one lvl 2, then 3, then 4... then the other lvl 1, other 2, 3 and 4.

And if you won't let us choose, then I suggest you at least make the unlocks work as one per level, instead of unlocking all level 1, then all 2, etc. like it is now. It'd be less bad to unlock one alternative to each level, then the second alternative to each level.

And what is a loadout? Does it grant any mechanical advantage, or is it only cosmetic?
