Just two quick things concerning items:

Swapping visual is way too expensive imo. When I wanted to swap something, it said it costs 250 steel, which is kind of ridiculous. Make it 10 or 25, so we can actually use it.

Also, I agree that the huge stat gains are too much and make the game unfair, giving people who play a lot an unfair advantage. Skill should matter. I do not take the game that seriously as I just want to have fun, but those stat gains have no place in an "arena" style game like this. Sidegrades are good (reducing one to raise another) but the amount raised should be similar to the amount lost.

I hope they'll remove the stats from the gear. If not the game will already be doomed and probably flooded with p2w microtransaction crap.

The gear proggression isn't so much about trade off as it has been advertised. The trade off part is about level 1 gear. There are 3 versions of gear for every slot. You pick the one you like )from the ones you receive randomly), then sacrifice other gear too increase its level. So, youa ctually increase your raw power a syou play the game more. And if this helps quite a bit to unfairly steamroll a beginner or another veteran who is starting to use a new character.

The system is unfair, especially to beginners. And it provides a strong incentive to not try out new characters, as you'll just be gimping yourself.

So, the raw power proggression should be (ideally) removed or toned down, for the sake of fairness of competition.

There are many talking about "No Honor" on ganks. But make no mistake. The gear proggression is the actual whole on the game's fairness
    ________

So, the maximum level for any gear is 6? But there is more rare gear with more extreme trade offs that allow you to get one specific stat higher (with the other two getting lower... and these rarer gear can also be upgraded only up to level 6?

And does getting the most extreme gear up to level 6 alow you to fill that whole gauge?

    Did I get it right?

If so, this seems like it will be extremely unfair. And if there are micro transactions, get ready for pay to win.
    ________

How about decreasing the stats gap from default gear to rarest maxed level gear?

And one thing I haven't seen being mentioned is that we can use the money got form one hero to buy gear for another. This is a great feature and helps a lot in starting to use another hero. But even with this feature, the big incentive is to NOT try a new hero, as you'll be severely gimping yourself against someone who is only specializing with one hero.

The stats gap should be decreased. Maybe upgrading a gear should give you a (tiny) proggression spread accross all three stats, avoiding the overespecialization of one stat. The overespecialization of 1 stat is one of the big problems (along with actually upgrading your overall stats, instead of actually trading-off).
