Dominion mode vs AI is fun as is. But strangely, even while dueling against the AI challenges me, nearly every battle ends in the players winning. So I hope there are multiple difficulty levels for AI in the final game — one to relax (easy), one to practice (medium), and one to achieve (hard).

    Worried about the dominion meta-game

So lately I've been seeing a lot of people travel around as a group of 4 and swarm the other team with numbers. This seems to be quickly emerging as the best strategy and most people agree that it makes the game pretty stale.

My suggestion to solve this is to add more emphasis on holding the objectives. I think giving more points to people who are on capture points is learning in that direction but it needs to be taken further. I suggest requiring one person to be on a capture point to receive any points from that objective at all. The front can remain unchanged.
This change would demand the team be split up in at least two groups (both capture points). Extra team members could then break off to hold the front, or gank the other capture point. I believe that is more in line with the coordination and strategy that was intended for the game mode, rather than the 4-man juggernaut we have rampaging around now.

I have had some framerate issues in Dominion and choppy audio. Perhaps it was because of connection. I'm not sure.

    Don't Neglect AI!

It's a real blast to play this mode with my friends, and we're not really interested in competitive small group stuff. With a full campaign in this game, you're doing the legwork to put in different AI difficulties to flesh out the Player vs. Computer experience, so I'm really interested in seeing more of that in this game. I'd really love more AI difficulty settings, and I wouldn't mind them cheating to make them harder. Make them have more HP if you want, or do more damage, or even add more AI opponents. A 6 on 4 or 8 on 4 mode would be super fun, and would really flesh out the experience for people who aren't interested in playing against other players.

Again, since you can't change your class during a match, I kind of agree.

Otherwise I'd say "take a defensive character and if they want to lose time on a contested area cause of ONE shielded warrior, that's their problem"

    Thoughts about Dominion

Hi there, I find Dominion mode really good even if I don't really like "capture control points" as a mode.
Unluckily while playing Dominion, tons of time suddenly the game start to have connection issues and then crashes.
It's really hard to me to end a game in this mode, unfortuantely there are tons of contract on that mode that can't me completed so easily.
Overall great job with For Honor so far, I'm sure you'll fix everything and I can't wait to the release.
    Greetings.

    My two cents

So this is my first time playing For Honor and I had a blast. I really enjoyed Dominion mode and enjoyed the balance of play. I've had several matches where the upper hand would shift between players and where the winner wasn't so obvious.
My biggest complaint with the mode would be the same complaint I have with all modes: The inability to switch heroes. If you're having a bad round with a Hero, or your Hero is far outclassed by another Hero, you can't do anything about it. You're stuck with your choice, and that just isn't fun. I want to be able to switch heroes every three deaths, so I can keep the play fresh.
I had a few glitch issues too but that, I assume, is just because of the initial server setup. I'm excited to see how this game will improve as it gets to the final stage.

First of all, I love this game, it has such a great potential.

While I was playing Dominion Mode, watching those minions...an image came to my mind: League of Legends...

What about making a bigger map, with streets, towers and an objective to destroy (like a castle = nexus from LoL) ?

In my opinion games are too short...when you reach all skills and start enjoying...it ends...

So thats my opinion...look at LoL map and think about making a map as big as it, with more objectives than old-style capture, already seen in too many games.

It has been suggested a ton of times already to make a more complex gamemode, both Siege style and MOBA style, I would love something that went to the 20 minutes mark. Dominion seems to simple for me after playing mainly MOBAs for 5-6 years.

Mostly I played this game mode and I really liked it. I think the maps should be bigger and maybe the mode should be 5v5. I also would like to see catapults on the attackers side and ballistas on the deffenders side that you can controll and fire at the enemy. There should be more fronts where the small bots are fighing not just one. I hope that when the game lunches will have a lot of game modes we can choose from.
