In Duel, two Heroes face each other in a one on one fight to the death.
Each round starts in a different duel arena with different opportunities and layout.

Feats aren't available, they must rely on skill, and awareness.

A Hero wins the round by defeating his opponent.
The Hero to win three rounds wins the game.

In the pre alpha test, we were unable to duel with a friend, will that be available in the closed alpha ?

That way of writing was kinda annoying, but i do want to ask the same question. Especially now that the player pool is bigger than last time.

Was in a group with a friend and sadly we could not enter a 1v1 Duel. Will that be a thing?

There literally has to be a thing where you can setup playing against friends in duel as well as in dominion in order for there to be any tournaments or local play whatsoever. Even more casual players need to be able to fight eachother for fun. But it's not in this alpha as far as I can tell sadly!

i have played a good 8 hours and played multiple different modes. whilst dueling another player his character model switched in the middle of a fight from the starting knight to the starting viking changing the mechanics along with it this only happened the once through multiple duels.

I've had this happen to me more than once.

As many suggest, would be awesome to be able to duel with friends. If not for xp then at least for fun!
