A question for any "No" voters, why would you be against getting more playable characters? Assuming they're balanced with the rest I can see no issue.

While I really love the Four Horsemen idea, I think it would even better if she had an agent in every faction. Is she really wants to manipulate the factions into constant warfare, she's going to need a lot more than the occasional arrow from the brush. She leads the Blackstone Legion openly with Holden Cross as her second, but meanwhile she has an Orochi that stands guard over and advises the Chosen Emperor, assassinating (or exiling?) political dissenters. and a Warlord that rabble rouses the Warborn into frenzy.

Besides, 16 playable characters is better than 12.
16 characters is not better than 12 if the last 4 characters end up being really superficial.

True, true, but obviously this thread isn't advocating superficial characters. My hope is Ubisoft thought of this already and we'll see Apo's followers in the campaign. However, if all they do is provide more fun characters to play they're worth adding imo.

I voted No, cos to me it seems they are just reskinned of the curent heroes.

Well like I said in a previous post, each of these 4 would have there own unique weapon & fighting style within the boundaries that Ubisoft set. Each faction has their own take on 4 classes & this would be adding 4 more versions.

I dont think they would fit, since the whole game is about samurai, knight and vikings. A faction who have stuff from the other 3 do not seems interesting to me..

The idea is pretty basic at this point. With some creativity it could be easy to explain why these fighters would follow Apollyon, disgusted with the world/faction/s, greed/power, enjoys fighting/war too much, etc. The story could gain tons of depth with such characters, they don't need to be emotionless followers or not be explained.

    (SPOILER)

For example, politics is a big issue for the samurai in the story. That'd be low hanging fruit for why a samurai type character would be fighting for Apollyon.
