    Why so much rage?

Someone please help me understand why we have so much hate for these developers when we have an outage? Is it really life or death for you? I have dedicated as much money and time as anyone into Rainbow Six Siege but what I see in the forums is beyond ridiculous when gamers don't get exactly what the want, exactly when they want and no matter what Ubi does, they will never be able to please everyone. I'm just happy that we still have a team dedicated to fixing as many issues as they can as quickly as they can. I think Ubisoft is doing a great job with Siege and the game has come a long way since it's launch. When its all said and done at this point whether they put out their fixes or not, most of the fan base will continue to play the game, because its solid in its current state.

Yes it's a product that we pay for but no product of it's kind is perfect.

Thanks Ubi for addressing your issues head on and attempting to do the impossible and please everyone.

...because Ubisoft worked hard throught the recent years to gain a reputation of being a company that doesn't care about its customers? Look at Blizzard or CD Projekt Red and you will see a completely different PR that results with much better responses from the community. It's just people who are developing Rainbow Six: Siege have the misfortune of being associated with Ubisoft and that's why they get all the heat, even though I would agree that Rainbow Six: Siege is pretty well supported in terms of expanding the game. The problem, however, is more server- and bug-related and here developers can't do much without company's approval and I bet we won't see Ubisoft buying more/better servers to improve latency issues because...

    We Disagree here...

Never had any interest in No Man's Sky. Didn't Preorder Siege. So as your assessment of me as a gamer is far left field, I would assume your assessment of the developer is as well.

I don't see Rainbow Six as downgraded, I believe that it is NOT perfect and they missed the mark initially by a wide margin but they are doing well in making a respectable effort to support the game. Netcode issues are horrific but the performance/experience overall is pretty decent in my opinion. The weapon skins are optional so I don't understand what the complaint is there. I'm sure you are still playing the game in its current state so Ubisoft has won on that end. But the glass is half full for me buddy.

Thanks for the expressing your opinion. I understand a little more now

Well said, I am glad I am not the only one with sense. I must bring up the fact of skins, why do people ( there's one in this very thread ) when complaining about the state of the game always say something along the lines of "stop wasting times designing skins"? To these people you do realise the skins are made by the art department nothing to do with the guys working on bugs or server issues ? The money raised by these go back into further development of the game and there are people out there willing to pay for them and help our game grow so I say more skins the better. I would like to see more realistic head gear and skins though to cater for all people.

    well its pretty simple :

    www.youtube.com/watch?v=xNter0oEYxc
(in case it shouldnt work youtube for "slash"watch?v=xNter0oEYxc)

you buy a game if the first impression blows you away. ubisoft is a company of lies! E3 promo trailers and teasers let you expect the best game that you will ever play because of fake graphics, atmosphere and maps... like in rb6 "wow how nice you can land with a helicopter on the roof and storm the building ... i bet you can always choose that way to enter on any map this is so SWAT,GSG9,GIGN stylish hell yeah i am a cop! look at the destruction in EVERY wall" than you play and see "ehm where is the roof and wtf is this .. what have i messed up with my graphic settings this is not what i saw, what did i buy ? this is ******** there is no atmosphere its like playing ****in cs there is no super duper special force police professional atmosphere this is ... yej lets enter and shoot faster than the others"

that is the SHORT version of why i hate ****ing ubisoft for destroying games that could be the best on the marked and loose its addictive factor in less than 1 month.
and dont let me start with ****ing division! so much potential. this awesome teasers and stuff and than everything is a lie look at the E3 we are so good and proud to present new gaming era lies **** you ubisoft **** you! nothing ! no ambiente just empty boring streets black textures where water (molten snow ) should be vanishing in seconds from snow that is barely visable, lighthing....... just open your eyes man ! what did you buy when you buy ubisoft games ? everything but not what you see on teasers and SURE nothing better...
i wish for honor, wildlands and watchdogs2 are as great as they look but they will not be ! they just wont!!! they will suck as much as all other hyped games from ubisoft.

    ubisoft a massage to you:
i wish you go under, and with your insolvency hidden money you pay your developers and your psychiatrist that if you should ever go up again with an other name you learn you soulles bunch of lyers! how can you sleep? go under, crash, broke, however you say that in english just get what you deserve!!

We're not asking for perfection, we're asking for stability! We are nearly a year in and the game inst much more stable than it was in the beta... its not fair. I believe the rage is warranted and Ubisoft has alot of explaining to do.

Im with you OP, loving the game! Sure a few bugs need to be patched (Thermite and Rook bug are the main ones I can think of) but overall its an amazing game that really offers something different (atleast for consoles). Loads of friends aren't done with this game yet!

I don't rate Ubisoft as a company, but Ubisoft Montreal feel like they operate differently somehow. For example, look at what a money-grab some of their releases have been in recent years in terms of DLC etc.

Then all of a sudden they release Siege - not aimed at the 'mainstream' like CoD, very much an eSports type shooter and all DLC is completely free. I think the developers are doing the best they can with the budget they have. Sure there are problems, but the developers aren't the reason. Direct your hate at the suits at Ubisoft

I have never been one to believe most of what I see in a teaser trailer because they usually live up to their concept "teasing" so in essence they did what they were supposed to. In a specific response to your wanting to repel onto a roof to begin a round in siege, do you really think there'd be any stealth in that? Operators can be heard and loudest and tracked the easiest on roof tops and when repelling. Believe me when I say this game has had plenty of flaws. I'm solely referencing the siege fanbase so I don't event want to dig into the division. All of their games have been a bit exaggerated in terms of what they offer in their reveal trailers.

In the past I was one of the people that fell victim to the WATCH DOGS hype trailer. I vowed never again, but if you truly hate ubisoft as a developer then the only way to show your displeasure is to stop buying their games. I believe that even though they do not present you with the perfect shooter you require, they definitely deliver a unique and enjoyable environment. In siege you have to really game with a cohesive unit and take advantage of things like the tactical board to get that full SWAT Style atmosphere you desire.

I understand that Ubisoft has earned their bad reputation and I agree with the false advertisement you mentioned above but my question to you is how many times would you fall for the same tricks? I'd advise that if you felt that strongly then wait for its release and check it out on twitch or youtube before buying. I really do believe though and are doing a wonderful job supporting Rainbow Six: Siege

Thanks for the enlightenment though. Happy gaming my friend

I would have to disagree, matchmaking has improved significantly, connectivity issues with data center connections have been addressed numerous times. Hit detection will never appease the majority. I understand the frustration of the game not being perfect and I rage from time to time, but what i'm saying is give Ubisoft's team that's working on Rainbow Six credit. They are really addressing major issues. I just don't believe we should indict them on every game they ever release as if they could never improve. I don't think i'd support a game for long that the fanbase didn't stand behind and it seems like sieges fanbase is not standing behind the product.

EA has been voted to have the worst customer service for a number of years, but they keep pumping out the same battlefield and madden experience every year because the sales are there. So unless i'm losing profit why change? What we do here is not helpful to anyone's cause.

Thanks for your input, its appreciated
