@Vegastrash: No, if people asks, I give news. https://twitter.com/mickaelgodard/st...00418089484288
(Also, your post is borderline as you call people "puppet")

That's good to hear, but the trend is..."maybe in a few weeks". Like I said, I'm calling 2017 for any news. I'm not blaming you or the twitter post either. It's simply out of your hands...I understand this.
As far as a puppet goes...my point was, the employees who give news on the game only do when told what to say and when, very similar to a puppet speaking when the puppet master pulls the strings. It's essentially the same thing. Same thing as spoke on the wheel. Common for any big company hierarchy. It's just the way things work and nobody's fault.
Who specifically makes the decision to give information on the title? As in, what is the person's name and company rank? He would be the person I'd ask.
The current situation is similar to trying to get a discount from the check out clerk at the grocery store, when they will always need to have the manager to ok it.

Xample. I remember you mentioning about consistent physics back in the day. You're right. Pivots are usually consistent, but if planks are too small...they don't play well. Too bad elmonator didn't make any on Fusion. The main issue with physics is the creator knows how they react well because he's run the track 100x...most won't know the weight and reaction of the objects, so it won't usually play well.

I should start to call you John Snow ;-)

No, the decision is in my hands. It is my decision to delay the communication to receive more feedback and improve more the messaging as it is very important and very positive/exciting. I think I have shown in the past that I was disclosing info without many problems.

So it's all on you to decide whether or not to share what is being worked on?
    That's even worse.
How much more feedback could you possibly get from a community who has been talking about improvements for years? I simply don't buy this one. Releasing information to 50 Trials fans on a forum won't impact the game in any way shape or form....believe me. Plus, I would assume the direction of the game has already been set.
To clarify even more...you were given the go ahead by the head of the project and thought.....nah...too soon. Haha, sure thing.

    Hi John Snow! ;-)

Maybe we even did better than that and you don't know about!
    Think more!

More seriously, it is not about too early. It is about carefully choosing wording and ensuring there is no confusion or building wrong expectations. That's all.

    Cheers,

If I'm John Snow, then you're Mother Goose. I've never heard so many tales.
You're full time job is to write a paragraph on the future release, among other things. Honestly, how hard can it be to not mess that up? I'd hate to see you working on a space launch. It would take off in 2080.
It's all in good fun though Eno. I'm just some old dude who likes to ride his imaginary bike.

Why do developers act as if the announcement of features in an upcoming title is a big deal, it isn't. No matter how you slice it. Nobody is stealing your ideas and the game has a small hardcore following.
    1. Planets aligned....check
    2. Wording double, triple checked, then rechecked....check
    3. Alert nerds on forum....we are deploying!!

I think you need Lonestar from Spaceballs to help the crew out.
You're gold Eno. Much love brother.

I'm sure en0 has a date in mind that you or anybody else cannot persuade; however it is a very interesting thread to read through each day .

    Cheers,
This terminology is a little worrying. I hope you arent implying that you already know the next game wont live up to what people actually want.

    Jonny,

I think I speak for most hardcore fans when I say expectations are not very high at this point.
