If I wanted to chain after a light attack, most of the time the warden did a grab instead of a shoulder charge...
The time window to initiate the dash during a combo should be a little bit bigger.
You're spamming the Guard Break button. Tapping it 2 times will cancel the Shoulderbash and replace it with Guardbreak. Slow down and be methodical.

Why does the warden's up R1 deflect sometimes do nothing? I just landed 4 in a match and only 2 did any damage. Then lost.

I think that it's pretty comprehensive guide from the OP, Kudos to them.

The OP 's guide is a great way of showing that the Vanguards are actually pretty demanding and need skill, method, and patience when going up against the flashier classes.........speaking of which:

    - Last Knight I shouted at the top of my voice at an Orochi.

    - I had to endure a close friend of mine laughing like a goon as he slaughted me with a Berserker again and again.

    - I sat in silence as I got whipped by a very talented Kensei.

I think that the Warden is seemingly a bit confusing as his ouput emphasizes speed and applying a patient methodology.....whittling opponents down and being eagle eyed with enviromental factors that can end the fight quickly.

I have found the Berserker very troublesome indeed. I'd hesitate to say that he his OP and broken. But unlimited chained attacks that don't use up any stamina and gain extra damage with an unblockable overhead finisher seems unbalanced even if the berserker is a glass cannon! My Parries never seemed to work and anticipating the direction of the attacks almost seemed impossible. Does anyone have any advice about this. His constant dodging made the range of my attacks inferior also - and I often found myself collapsing into button mashing as my fight broke down. Is the Warden even capable of taking down this foe???? The same goes for the Orochi too.

Unblockable is not the same as un-interruptable
