WTB: DLC using the story of the anime/manga Berserk

Just as the title says. It could also be it's own game or whatever but mainly it'd be epic to have a Berserk game using the For Honor combat system. I admit, I'd easily buy a whole game like it.

Story of the Golden Age arc, maybe.

After that, though, Guts and crew mainly encounter giant monsters that I feel would be better handled with a DMC style control system. Of course, they could make it to where in order to 'block' any of the larger creatures attacks, you would have to parry them.

The story goes off the rails after the Eclipse, as well, so I'd prefer, if they were to do it, to keep it within the confines of the Midland/Chuder conflict.

Doubt it. Although I love Berserk! Wouldn't doubt the developers get some inspiration from it.

Where would it end? Riding back into the city after they took Doldry? The ball where the King announces they'll be knighted? The dual between Gutz & Griffith so Gutz can leave?

The combat system would need to be modified of course if they moved into the Eclipse arc for all the monsters that Gutz fights and his own style evolves as well. I think it'd add some layers to the game if you could block some, parry others, etc.

Rescuing Griffith could make for a good start to a DLC or even a second game.

Do you seriously think Ubisoft would allow that? Not a chance. You should be glad enough about the combat mechanics without wanting to shove one of your favorite anime into it; only a small percentage of the target audience would appreciate it. Not to mention the licensing issue.

I love Berserk too, but that's just not gonna happen, man. There's a Berserk Musou coming up though, if you didn't know already.
