    How to spin the wheel?

    Hey,

I've been meaning to ask this for a while now:

Does anyone have a technique of how to spin the wheel properly? Because whenever the Lazy Catapult track I need for the data cube quest comes up I miss it ;P And I just don't have enough gems to use them for re-spins.

    Best!

The wheel is most likely some random number generator, it is not following physics rules (force, friction, momentum etc...). All you can do is keep spinning.

Yeah, it's random. Just keep retrying by replaying the level and you'll get it eventually.

I wouldn't recommend spending gems but watching ads to respin is an alright option in the rare cases it's available.

I disagree that it's random although it still can't be perfectly manipulated, you can push the odds in your favor.

1st, try to keep you flick consistent. I wouldn't try to spin fast, slow and smooth like you were scrolling down a web page you're reading. Pay very close attention to where you're starting from and where that ends up after the spin.

I average about 2.5 rotations of the wheel. Because of this, I put the prize I want near the bottom of the wheel before I spin. If I don't win it, I usually didn't miss by much.

My set up may not work for you but if you notice the prize that was on the right side is the one you frequently win, set the prize you want to that side before you spin and you can increase your chances.

I've gotten pretty good at hitting special prizes once I started paying attention.

I agree, it's not totally random and you're right, it can't be perfectly manipulated BUT most of the time I can land on what I want by using roughly the same method as you've described !!

It's simply a case of learning to spin the wheel the same speed/way every time, then you need to learn where the desired item lands each time, once you've got a consistent spin speed sorted then it's just a case of moving the wheel before you spin to help make it land on what you want.....Basically what you've already said !!

It takes a bit of practice and patience but keep at it and you'll start to land on what you want more and more ok !?

    !! Hope this helps.....Good Luck !!

There was a guy a year or so ago that had a phone that would let him record his taps/swipes and replay them. Since you can "set up" your wheel position in advance this should have let him win every time. He said he did not do well at all.

The wheel does not behave consistently the same. That being said, it certainly SEEMS like I have control, even though I might not. They designed it well.

I've always thought the wheel is a bit fixed. I used to spin it anti-clockwise all the time and sometimes it would spin clockwise. This made me conclude it was already pre-programmed.
