    Agreed.

I stopped playing this game three weeks ago.

But I still care enough about what happens to it, that I'm unwilling to abandon it entirely.

As the devs seem to FINALLY be realizing, they got away from what made the game work---level 1-30----and they just needt o get back to it.

Level 1-30, this game is one of the best loot-based RPGs I've ever played....and I'd hate to see that potential wasted.

Same thing everytime an announcment is made - the game is dead, the game is dead.

And yet here you all are, still playing, still trolling.

The worst thing about this game - these threads. If the game is dead, leave, go play something else. Its not a perfect game, it has issue, but plenty of people are still enjoying it. Then they come here thinking maybe i'll share something positive, and wham, they are confronted with a wall of. I'm leaving, devs suck, the game is dead, wheres the waaaaaambulance? tyoe posts.

    Give it a ****ing rest.
Don't bunch me in with the people who said it from the start

I've given the game months and months and defended it as much as anyone
    I never said 1.1 1.2 or 1.3 killed it.
I'm saying their timeframe is screwed.

Their timeframe is necessary but being this long may potentially run enough players away and it'll hurt the population irreparably.

And last but not least JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE TAKING A DECENT AMOUNT OF TIME BEFORE RELEASING UPDATES TO "FIX BUGS" IT DOESNT MEAN THEY WILL FIX BUGS. They haven't had a good track record here. More time doesn't necessarily mean the bugs wil be fixed

Also This timeframe may very well be to avoid releasing with destiny rise of iron. It could be for money purposes but we're being told its for bug fixes. We'll see but I'm not hopeful

You want to be careful saying that, its seems some people think if you've stopped playing you couldn't possibly care anymore and therefore are a troll...

    I call those people bellends.

I've actually jumped onto destiny in the interim, i think the level of content available there is also part of the reason i find it hard to think i'm going to come back to div just so i can do all the same **** but this time without my skills stopping etc.

The fix won't be the final step. It can't be if they want the game to have a future. So it's a safe bet that there will be many more steps to follow that add content.

And then there's possibility that the that the fixes for the current content reinvigorate it enough to make it fun to play again.

    I'm the opposite

I know bugs need fixing and all but that's way way way too far out. It's not the players fault you can't fix bugs in a timely fashion and let them pile up

The dark zones 01-06 are stale. I endured them believing there'd be an update/dlc coming soon but knowing it will be months is just too long
    Underground is done for me
Missions albeit fun to run can't hold players over for months

Having defended the game for this long I think it's safe to say I can't do it any longer. If I can't do it any longer I can't see too many others doing either. The population will truly be decimated by then. Even the most casual players will run out of content

I think this just put the nail in the coffin
Super disappointed in massive and Ubisoft right now.
Having played over 1000 I'm one of the more serious players of TD and I think the exact opposite is true.
I think the transparency of Massive and it's willingness to work with the community shown during the last SOTG is fantastic.
I feel like the franchise has an amazing future ahead and day by day things will only get better.
I look forward to 1.4 and Survival and will continue playing and giving feedback/ideas to the community until they arrive.

Whilst we've had different opinions on many aspects of the game, you have usually come across as positive toward the game itself.

Don't give up on it yet! Who knows what the future holds.

I'm just curious. Are you at level 40 in the UG? 1% of players are so far. Is there nothing for you to do until Oct.? Reason I ask, I have one character is level 40 UG, 2nd character UG level 30. With a third at UG level 14. I think all of them will be level 40 by Oct. So if you look it that way, there's still much to do. Unless you are bored with UG.

You lot stay positive if it gets you through the day. I prefer to be a realist, ends up being less of a bump when you fall from the clouds.
