The game has issues, and I'm the first one to admit and point it out, but it's not as bad as most paint it. Apart from the significant server lag, getting stuck on supposedly solid structures a couple of times, and the sound problems on PS4, I haven't had any game-breaking glitches, and many friends of mine haven't also. But these errors are real, they do occur and need fixing, granted.

But seriously, do we need to post a tantrum or a rant every time there's a State of the Game broadcast? And with all due respect, stop painting yourself as a reference for the universe of The Division fans. The people who invested in this game, as I have, will surely keep playing. As for the rest, if they move on, too bad.

I generally agree. However, I don't thing October is too far down the road, in regards to new content for the game. First, I'm still collecting gear that I'm really interested in, and second, I'm not sure they'll leave us to our own devices until then. They might just tweek the HVT missions and the Supply Drops, as you said. That's a good idea.
I have plenty to do till then as well. Ive been asking for more time and my prayers have been answered, It wasn't an easy road to get where I'm at but I have six friends who still play and they play nearly everyday or every other day. They avg three of their favorite games in rotation and TD is one of them. Yes they say its hard and all of them want more generosity with the loot and Rogues to be punished more

ill be definitely playing and seeing this thru, I'm patient and I'm having fun meanwhile even though my progress is slow.

That they didn't do any further work beyond that to retain this gift they've been given?

I know my company lets people go when they aren't pulling their weight. . And they have the right to do so as well .

But youll continue to say derogatory things about me, I don't care. I'm pleased to see action taken when I see it, Gives me hope for this game. And yes I think people come to this forum all bitter lookjng to attack anyone when honestly were all probably on the same page.
    Agreed.

I've no doubt that they're trying to fix the game, improve it, make it better. Anyone who knows computer engineering, even if only a little, will perceive that it takes time to solve problems in a complex and vast digital scenario. Not to mention the synergic effects, that a mere change can have in the overall scenario.

    Totally agree.

I'm still having lots of fun, and I'm still collecting gear. It will take me a while longer, perhaps, to get exactly what I want for now, so I much welcome the extra time we're about to be given.

At some point in the future we might, and I stress might, find out what happened over the infamous Swedish holiday but right now does it matter? Something happened and there has been a definite change in attitude towards the direction of the game and that's all that's important.

As long as what is being promised is delivered then this is a inspired decision, if they don't not even Chuck Norris will save em.

Yeah, it's a very good video, and I agree with his point. Like I said earlier, all those that invested in this game, as I did, will remain faithful. End of story.

I just want to emphasize that I'm having tons of fun with the game. Sure, the NPC's are vastly overpowered, sure, it takes 2-3 clips to kill an elite NPC, sure, there are some persistent, significant errors, but I'm having a blast. I'm still collecting gear, and I trust I'm going to be at it for some time. #StillLovingTheDivision

Side Note: there's just one thing with which I strongly disagree with SkillUp, Final Measure is not a useless gear set, and it certainly isn't something we'd never use. In fact, I consider that going into the DZ without, at least, two Final Measures equipped, is suicide. But that's me.

Pretty much what every person who has ever been fired has said. Good riddance to bad performance.

This is where I disagree with you. At least in a different way than you might think. Right now the Division is not a valuable game. The Division has made more money than Ubisoft anticipated. Hell, over 330 million dollars. Their highest grossing game ever. As such Massive & Ubisoft could choose to sit back and release the DLC's as is. There really isn't a huge financial detriment to doing so.

But therein lies the problem. The game has managed to alienate a large portion of it's player base. And that's where it's actual value shows up. This isn't about money imo, at least not at this current moment. This is about attempting to salvage the consumer relationship. Ubisoft, despite all it's flaws, is still a profit based company. Leaving the Division to rot in it's current form does nothing except give a collective middle finger to the player base that has been so vehement in voicing it's displeasure.

Going to delve into hypothetical stuff here. Let's say the Division doesn't get fixed. Fast forward maybe what, two years from now, it's sequel time. Does anyone here think for a second there will be another 330 million dollar game here? Nope. Not a chance. Because the consumer is going to remember the first debacle.

We all had an idea of what the Division would be when we bought into it. Unfortunately nobody, including Massive, realized their biggest selling point would become the biggest issue of all. The DZ is without a doubt, an abject failure. I don't believe for a second that Massive intended higher leveled players essentially bullying lower leveled players just because they could. But they stuck their heads in the sand and stayed the course. Despite the vast majority of the player base being extremely vocal against it.

This is what Ubisoft/Massive NEEDS to do in order to salvage their relationship with their players. As to all the job postings, you can't read too much into it. Are some of their employees jumping ship in order to have job security? Yes. Without a doubt. Ubisoft is in dire straits right now. They're fighting tooth and nail against Vivendi. If they are unable to move units on future games because of what happened here, all it does is weaken their position further. But that doesn't mean the company ceases to try to grow and improve. Having open job postings is common with all developers. I personally have been a very vocal critic of the game and the company. But I do not believe that having open job postings means that everyone is jumping ship. I do not believe the issues the Division has plays into their hiring strategies at all.

Sorry for the wall of text.

Same thing everytime an announcment is made - the game is dead, the game is dead.

And yet here you all are, still playing, still trolling.

The worst thing about this game - these threads. If the game is dead, leave, go play something else. Its not a perfect game, it has issue, but plenty of people are still enjoying it. Then they come here thinking maybe i'll share something positive, and wham, they are confronted with a wall of. I'm leaving, devs suck, the game is dead, wheres the waaaaaambulance? tyoe posts.

    Give it a ****ing rest.
Not the same . When 1.4 drops there will be other games that will make The Division dead .BF1 FTW !!
