News on Xbox One Backward Compatibility for GRFS & other Recon titles | Forums

With the news of COD2 being introduced to the Xbox One Backward Capability list, I was wondering what's the situation with GRFS & perhaps even GRAW 1 (5,525 votes) & GRAW 2 (6,517 votes) added also?
I know you have to vote for the games on feedback webpage: https://xbox.uservoice.com/forums/29...-compatibility but any info would be greatly received.

R6 Vegas 1 (8,443 votes) & Vegas 2 (10,593 votes) are added so why not Recon's as well GRFS has more votes (14,078) than Vegas but it's still not released yet?

I read somewhere that it is entirely up to the publishers if they wanna launch it on the BC program. So it is in Ubisofts hands, it seems.
I wouldnt mind playing some GRAW2 that is for sure! I have zero interest in WL after seeing the E3 gameplay videos.. maybe it'll come back, if they show a proper hardcore mode.. but we'll probably see pink weapon skins before that lol

Mr heinz, how you doing ol'Viking timer (siege legend). It's typical if Ubisoft decides if this becomes BC or not. I need to play these games again because I got rid of my old Xbox 360 & PS3 consoles & the games (madness).

I don't blame you for not wanting to purchase WL. I'm feeling the same too as you well know many others are also. If they make it ultra difficult on single player/co-op campaign than I will be interested. But I can't see it. Plus I (like you) need the competitive side of PVP multiplayer as well. I hope they release them soon. At lease COD4 Modern Warfare is being remastered for release with their new brain drain arcade repetitive shooter COD SOLDIERS IN HALO SPACE. Yep there will be more colourful guns in WL that is guaranteed. (easy targets to see if pink ). Come on Ubisoft pull your fingers out. You could make a bit of money with this.

Yea..Im not saying your incorrect, but I'm also not agreeing with you..I think its has to do more with Microsoft agreeing
with the Publisher.

I just remebered.. It was in a video interview with the dude in charge of Xbox's BC program.. he was asked why they didnt just make all 360 games bc, and that was basically what he said.. that they wanted all 360 games in the bc program, but it is entirely up to the publishers.
This sounds pretty reasonable if you ask me.

I too would love to see GRFS and GRAW2 as titles on BC. I know there are games I would stop playing for the ability to play these on my XB1. I have it on steam but its not the same

No please cause that way I will have to play big brother with ITK5, Bluefox, Muddvain, Keeba, Mattshotcha on my One and I can't play with big brother anymore after playing little brother.

I would like to but without Backward Compatibility for this than that's a no no.

Are you sure they go off on Xbox Live? I thought MS are adamant that servers for games must remain on?
