I feel the exact opposite. At this point (thansk to 4HM and a good group of regs) I have full 269/229 sets of everything i want, well tweaked and refined over the last few weeks. Tact, Sentry, Alpha Bridge, Striker, DeadEYE, Reclaimer, with various 2 piece Final measuer/BLIND/hunter faith/ 5-piece + Savage or Reckless combos.... the same sets I have worked on, upgraded with each GS increase, tweaked a bit more each time, and so on. And I am looking forward to doing it again at least 2 more times.Originally Posted by Neumeusis Go to original post
You can call bullsh1t on what I think, but iam almost sure that there are only two possible scenarios
1. They are gonna AGAIN rework the GS system and get completely rid of it
2. The GS will stop at 268 for good
GS as a meter of power was a terrible fail. While some people can easly bump the GS to 250 by equiping a combo of **** items it still can mean that a GS set of 214 is way more powerfull then the 255 crap set item and weapon combos.
We simply need a different tool how the game determines our strengh and combat power.
Nice. You are in the 1% of the playerbase. If they gonna build the game around people that play as much as you do then very soon it will only you and your 1% playerbase left.Originally Posted by ZoharQAW Go to original post
So far my understanding of GS computation :
set items GS are 191 + 20xnew level +3x(new level+1)*(new level)/2
-> expect GS 301 and 336 for the next patches
HE items are 163 + 16xnew level +3x(new level+1)*(new level)/2
-> expect GS 257 and 288 for the next patches
The average stat increase is +12% with a spread of +/-10%
Higher GS would bring up new meta (I don't know if it would be better or worse), I haven't done the math to check when you'll reach max damage reduction without armor bonus, and how much gears with SP bonus you'll need to reach smart cover and pulse bonus cap.
