I am amazed at how many people think this game is not balanced, that opinion is left to be discussed because not everyone shares it nor agrees with it.
For me personally I believe the DZ is balanced, and its lack of individual skill that makes up the difference between winning and losing. Every player has the ability to gear up and use their mouse/controller to take down opponents. If you are good you can win every engagement regardless of the opposition.. THAT to me is balance.
This game rewards skill way more than any gear set + ingame talent ever could, as a result I frequently fight 2v1/3v1 people alone in the DZ with amazing success. Why? Because I have faith that the developers released this game with full balance in mind as games like this are highly tuned to perfect balance aka real strategy games like Starcraft where all 3 races are perfectly balanced even one ability can throw off a whole race thus remaking the game. The DZ wouldnt be released unless if was balanced.
Poll attached, what is your thoughts?
Bingo, I stated this in his other thread where he's mad about not being about to gank entire squads anymore. Typical PK'er moron.Originally Posted by RaySkrillz Go to original post

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, oh wait you are serious? Oh please god, tell me you aren't serious and that I have been trolled? AHAHAHAAHAHAHA needed a good laugh today.
saying "individual skill" in a Division thread is hilarious
if i had a ****ty build it wouldnt be balanced for me. For a geared up player it pretty much is (but that is not a DZ issue, its the whole game like that, you have to have the top gear to be top in endgame). The only unbalanced thing is low penalty for going rogue, and NPC damage should be a bit lower. Rest is fine.
Edit: speaking for PC. No shotgun sentry meta here (most players I match with still use smg, and pvp doesnt include too many shotguns as well. Oh and of course the explosive round stagger should be turned off. That ****s up the balance if someone has reclaimer.
I can fight two, maybe three uncoordinated players - but I have a hard time holding my own against two coordinated players. In 1 vs 1, it is pretty even, although the shotgun feels a tad OP up close, so staying mobile is important.
I have a decent chance on running away from a gank squad, unless the team has a sentry guy and/or a powerful skill build - then it becomes very hard to avoid/mitigate the incoming damage.
The DZ is not as bad as many think it is. Got one char at DZ rank 91, one at DZ rank 84, one at rank 50, and the last at rank 30.
Edit: Forgot to note that my build is Balanced with a tilt towards Defensive, and mostly focused on PvE survivability.
Seems you are the moron. The developers would pull the game immediately if they felt the game was off balance even a slight bit because of how finely tuned this game is. Look at Starcraft, if even one unit out of 30 per race is off balance they re-evaluate the entire game field.it takes a complete moron to think the DZ is balanced at all.
Same as the Division, until the developers admit the game is not balanced I refuse to believe it.
I'm amazed at how some people still think the DZ is even balanced AT all.Originally Posted by Proffesional Go to original post

What i do in 1v1 against shot guns is run right at them but an angle and get in close so they waste their shots and are forced to re-load them i turn around the smg them. Also if you keep moving the shotties have a hard time adjusting and you can catch them on a reload or off position.I can fight two, maybe three uncoordinated players - but I have a hard time holding my own against two coordinated players. Dont think its impossible to beat a shotty 1v1 it just takes a little more practice once you adjust after a lot of 1v1s you will realize shotgun is not the best.
