So I know some to most of these topics are already been talked and already the biggest issue to game, with the exclusion of Cheaters and Exploits (esp. during the first incursion, Falcons Lost).
I decided to talk about this myself and see whether or not they're good ideas and not to be changed but hope to see in future of The Division or Good Ideas that can be adjusted a bit.
Here's my wishlist.
1: Patrol Spawn Fixing (Dark Zone)
I've soloed and explored some parts of the Dark Zone today on the PC Version of this game, since I rarely stumble upon the Dark Zone on my PS4. I realize that when I clear out a Point of Interest (via, The Pit, Blockade, Morgan Library, Contaminated Zones and etc.) I notice to see that patrols randomly spawn out of no where after engage with a faction, lets just say The Cleaners and some odd reason when I was engaging, another street patrol randomly spawns behinds me. Pinching me and then another spawns on the other side of street (Keep in mind, they're random spawns, but in this case It was Cleaners and Rikers) after clearing out both patrols and re-engaging the POI the same exact issue happened right where I just cleared both factions of the patrols, Another two patrols respawn in a 3 mins as I just finished clearing a Tank and 2 Rushers. This time the patrols had 2 Tanks, 1 for each Patrol. Now this is where it gets to me is that the spawning system in the game is getting out of hand with these timers. How are people that are soloing the DZ because the game is slowly dying cause of the "Mistakes" made from the Developers that took them 3 years to make and it has more problems than ever. Now I'm not being malicious but I'm sticking to what I'm saying. Fix the spawns of the patrols in the Darkzone or Eliminate them and add more POIs.
- If the Patrol Spawns can't be adjusted at all by spawning irregularly and happen to spawn right on top of you out of no where. Take out the Patrols and replace their spawns with POI's and add like Two DZR 15 Crates after clearing the camps. (Like for Cleaners, Camp Pyro -- Rikers, Camp Copbloc -- Rioters, Camp Killa -- LMB, Camp Whiskey)
2: PvP Combat (Dark Zone + An Idea)
Alright, so this is the big problem before content started to be rolled into the game. I thought personally this would be implemented but I guess not, to resolve the Player Tanks who are going rogue and dealing formidable damage to players who're Hybrid, Skill Power or just straight up Glass Cannon and they're surviving. I for one hated that so much that my Hybrid build was getting demolished by a Player Tank that had 113k DPS with the mainstream Vector 45. ACP HE and 209k Hitpoints with 53% Damage Reduction from Armor vs my 211k DPS Aug Para X3 and 102k Hitpoints with 40% Damage Reduction. Some to most of you still or have encountered this a lot in the dark zone before the devs made different dark zone brackets for the gear score content and made all enemies bullet sponges and 1 shotters no matter what toughness you have along with masses of hitpoints. What the developers can do is to eliminate the gear score factor and the dps from your gun and straight up just have you and your skills to take out rogues and non-rogue players in a standard pvp forum with some exceptions. Exceptions being the talents of your guns being used and some attachements. So like for example you have what I mentioned that Player Tank vs Myself, interlocked in a fight with each other, he jumps me and I head to cover but I take some serious hits cause he clips me with a few shots from his First Wave M1A and I'm down at 2/3s of my Hitpoint Bars. I re-engaged him with a successful grenade and plastered him as he staggered while trying to roll from the nade, killing him.
- TL;DR? Don't make someones gear set overpowered in PvP Combat. Eliminate the Gear Factor and make it straight up fair for everyone and those who got jumped by geared players to give them their revenge to getting their loot back. Only have Gear affect the PvE Environment and make the PvP more fun and simply with chills that you become the prey of the hunted for all us rogues.
3: Bullet Sponge.
High Talked topic of the game, I think that the damage is fine and can be adjusted with the Shotguns shooting from a distance of the Snipers. Just reduced the armor from a Level 34 Soldier from 40mil to 15mil and the Hitpoints from 30mil to 10mil. I'd feel like it should be unique with different enemy classes like the tank for example they're fine but they don't need to be punished heavily because they wear so much armor that their health and armor can be reasonably adjusted without having them being easily soloed by 1 players than focused fire from 4 players. I personally think that damage is what really isn't the problem at all, it's fine and adjustable when needed to. But what isn't fine is the fact that I need to use 70% of my ammo to kill 3 guys or 1 tank that are Elites that has to change and I hope it does.
- If you think those nerfs and adjustments, makes it too easy. Why not just add more NPCs, give us the option to make it a tactical situation to cover our flanks.
4: PvP Arenas.
Since the Underground pretty much adds like Dungeon Simulator but in my RPG Cases for me this seems like a Diablo 3 Nephalem Rift. Why not add like a PvP Arena Simulator where you have to fight in a hazardous environment that has traps and closed off areas for a TDM or Last Man Standing, Defend the Stronghold and etc.Because if the Hybrid PvE/PvP Dark Zone isn't that Appealing anymore, why not create something innovative and simple. Add something like the Underground but PvP.
- Sounds Stupid and doesn't fit with the Lore/Story? Well it does in a way but for those people who can't get gear for crap in the Dark Zone and/or can't afford for Underground or the Season Pass. This gives them a unique way to earn gear and goods... maybe a Dark Zone Alternative?
These are my wishlist and possibly more ideas but I personally think these should be at least mentioned and could be implemented.
What do you guys think?
I'm totally glad you agree with me on 1, 2 and 3 but 4 can take some time getting used to. I mean think about it, Survival looks like a different DZ zone or maybe a revival of the DZ but with a Sick TW!ST. Reason why I wanted to to be added is so that way it could be another alternative to meet people and gain loot and kill for loot. Compete in a friendly competition without losing stuff in the process. I mean an idea like that is basic in most MMO/RPG Hybrids, even though a few like Diablo III for example couldn't implement a solid pvp mechanic because of the balancing issues with spell but the idea still remains with them they just don't know how to overcome that process.Originally Posted by Fuz Fragstealer Go to original post
Hell ya dude. Any level could do it to, Not just a straight up arena but like adding like a Normal Mode called Agent and then a Hardcore Mode called Deadly. I'd feel like this could be another safe and friendlier Dark Zone alternative if people just like casual pvp while still maintaining the rewards that can be earned as a dark zone drop based off of their current PvE Gear Score and Score points earned during the match.Originally Posted by Hugo-FOU Go to original post
Indeed I agree as well, but the idea of a basic casual pvp experience without running into a patrol that 1 shots you after escaping a party of rogues or surviving rogue is a bit b.s. and rage worthy. But like with the bullet sponging and the unfairness of gear from another player doesn't seem adrenaline... just another oh great got ganked by a super gear D-bag; wouldn't you think that a alternative pvp can be implement and probably stake or bet gear/money on it; idea may sound vague but possibly intriguing if done right.Originally Posted by Fuz Fragstealer Go to original post
