    2015 gameplay was better, anyone else annoyed?.

    Is there anyone?.... annoyed with these weird red and white marks that appear when you strike someone in the gameplay?. or these glowing shoulders on the knight when he is about to charge?. There should be a option to remove these silly special effects, in 2015 we had a realistic looking combat when you swing a sword it looked real, even when you hit someone no strange special effects appeared it was as just like hitting someone for real. I mean there could be more blood just to make it noticeable.

    I can see where you're coming from. When they first announced the game in 2015, they gave us something more grounded and believable. Not just through gameplay, but in character and world design as well. The game seemed to have lost quite a bit of that purity this year, with the Raider having horns and all the new flip animations for the other heroes, but I wouldn't say that the gameplay was better in 2015. They have only improved and continue to build on the gameplay. The addition of the stamina bar and environmental hazards being some examples. That said, you're right that the UI have only got more and more intrusive. It seems to be the biggest issue when people are complaining about the visuals. They really need to dial down on the UI designs. We don't need the screen to be smothered in enormous texts and icons to understand.

    Nope, I think it was great they added them. Its a visual aid for you to notice what attack they doing so you can avoid it.

    I am not sure what you are saying here.

    There are only 2 characters that have those confirmed flips and they can't do them all the time. Both of them appear to be defensive in nature and if my guess is correct, you will not be able to pull them off all the time. Not too mention both of them are on assassin type characters with the Nobushi being a hybrid. Also Raider horns were specifically mentioned in multiple interviews because this is a Viking power fantasy. Not historically accurate Viking simulator. He specifically said that the reason they have horns is because they look cool and they really evoke that Viking fantasy.

    Also again the UI is not that intrusive compared to some other games. All in all the game has really improved however the biggest issue is that the game NEEDS dedicated servers. The Visuals are a nitpick right now but the real issue will be those dedicated servers. Otherwise the game may die before it begins.

    I noticed the targeted enemies glowing to im not super annoyed by them but it was prettier without the glowing bodies.less hud is prettier.ubi giving them a division look?lol
