    About the shotguns

Look, I agree that the semi auto shotgun DAMAGE output deserved a nerf. But it deserved a nerf because of how it was implemented and used in the game. Specifically, I'm sick of this video game myth that you can't miss with a shotgun. Make the shotguns an accurate portrayal of how a shotgun actually works in reality. This wouldn't be a buff in a sense because it would require aiming and skill to use and you could very well miss the target at very close range, but it would be a buff in the sense that it is still capable to competing with rifles to some degree. It makes zero sense, absolutely nil, for a pistol to be more reliable than a shotgun inside a damn building. ZERO.

You shouldn't nerf the range even more along with the damage. Who in the hell in their right mind will use the things now? Perhaps I'm overreacting because the patch isn't released yet, I will see.

And by the way.......I'm still waiting for my pump shotgun buff. Ubi pls.

How about an option to swithc between ammo modes so you have Solid and Buckshot. Buckshot doign close range damage over a bigger area, and Solid shells doing higher damage to a single target at long range, that would give an accurate portrayal of a shotgun,. A good real world example of this is Skeet Shooting, where you can accurately use a shotgun to hit a flying target from a medium to long range with a Solid shell.

to late. Ubi and the console players wanted shotguns to be pillow launchers with arms length in range.

While i agree that some of the shotguns weren't quite right, I didnt really feel they were a problem - it was perfectly possible to counter them.

All the nerfing and buffing has been too heavy-handed. Adjustments should be being made in much smaller increments in order to fine tune. The changes made to shotguns have not improved the game - they still aren't a real option for attacking and the defending team has lost a really powerful ally. There are now less ways to play the game.

The problem wasn't necessarily the function of shotguns, but more their prevalence in each round - almost every (defending) operator has has been given access to a Shotgun, which led to a large number of shotguns being carried into the match. It might have been better to restrict certain characters from using them and thus limit the likelihood of spamming occurring in matches.

Perhaps making greater penalties to accuracy while moving would have been a better solution as it's the speed-3 ops like Pulse who seem most overpowered with a Shotgun.

They actually had what was possibly the best representation of how real shotguns worked in a video game... then they nerfed it to ****
