First, a slight preamble. I feel 100% done with the game. I've completed everything and have every bike fully upgraded (except Stallion and Agent, meh), in Legends board the last few rounds. It's been a good run, over a year of almost daily playing, though I'm nowhere near the level of many here.
That out of the way, I do want to keep an ear out for new updates so that I don't miss out on new content. That was the big issue with the new Ferry tracks last round; if you didn't happen to play at that exact time of day, you missed out.
Is there any way to know when such updates are upcoming so that I can prepare? I'd love to just stop my daily playing and move onto other things, but also don't want to miss out when new things are introduced. Or for them to bring the decimal point back to rankings....

You could check the forum bi-weekly. Updates are always dissected here immediately.
But no... Sadly updates seem random

Yeah, random over time. But I have seen some patterns..
- I'd check weekly.
- Seems like updates come Tuesday-Thursday. Usually Thursday. They probably want at least a day of weekday support after delivery.
- If you make a habit of quickly checking for app updates every morning and lunch, you'll never miss any major time in an event.
- Last couple of updates Jolly actually posted the event details a day early in the announcement forum. Not sure what CapnWheelie will do.
