Will the community in game be able to create clans or guilds?

Unknown at this point, but I sincerely hope so! If not, we can always form them out of game and add our clan mates to our friends list.

Yes I agree, but it is always nice to represent your guild/clan with a clan tag, and to also see your enemy that you respect as well.

I think a guild system would be useful, maybe with a leveling system scaling with victories and "guild's matches" if players of the same guild join in a group for the same match.
Rewards could grant some little buffs or outfit gadgets

No official word on it.

I have a small issue with this, as it would exclude those who are no part of any clan or guild (but might well have a somewhat fixed group of people they play with) .....

With the inclusion of Clans ect i see this game becoming competitive. I hope there is a clan system and clan wars ect. SO you can team up with your buddies and defeat other clans

Can we all agree to call them teams instead....

I mean clans is fine, but guilds don't feel like they fit for this game type.
