That's always been a weird case for games with splitscreen on PC. It usually just does not have that functionality because having two mouse inputs at the same time isn't possible. But that's really besides the point. This game is designed with controllers in mind, so it will work well on controller even if you do not prefer it, at least. But that's definitely not an issue that this game would create, that's been around for a long long time.Originally Posted by Patient_Fodder Go to original post
I did not claim anything, but you are right in that you did not show any discontent about the decision about it being implemented on PC. I read your post in the wrong "tone" so to speak, so i apologise.Originally Posted by Patient_Fodder Go to original post

But but that is m/kb discrimination!Originally Posted by FunkyChuck Go to original post
To be honest this will be my first brawling game again in years, as these kind of titles appear on consoles only usually.
Could it be the case that they may omit this feature on pc to not have the "hassle" of people buying it for pc as it can be controlled by m/kb, and people will buy it with the idea it can be played by 2 people without controllers? Or is it simply a case of, 1 pc, 1 account, 1 player (so money really)?
The m/kb thing was never issue for me. I intend to play the game with a controller it seems to me from all the videos that controlling your character this way will be much smoother than m/kb. IMO controllers are superior to m/kb setups in many cases, especially for racers, fighting games, etc...
If they do not want to release the game with an option for split-screen I doubt that they will give us the reason why. So its pointless for me to speculate on this matter. I just wanna know if this decision is final - No split-screen for PC, or is there some technical issue which will be resolved in time.
I don't know a lot about consoles setups, but wouldn't you be able to play the on console from 1 account as well, thus wouldn't you have the money issue (if it were an issue in this case) for consoles to begin with?
Very valid points mr (?) Overseer,
The thing is, I hate controllers, had a ps2, killed all and any controller, ps 3 I killed the controllers, I put too much pressure on them, they are not my thing.
First games on x86 computers there were no controllers, I never grew up with them. That said, this is my problem and an advantage for anybody in this game playing against me with a controller.
With racers I do not have the issue as much as it is less directional (diagonals etc.) oriented.
On the dual screen for consoles, there is 1 major difference. In the beginning without an internet connection, the whole purpose was to be able to play with a friend on one console.
That was the basis, I read you can even have subaccounts on consoles nowadays. Something which is not possible on pc.
So I think it is a heraditary option for consoles, which is expected to be there.
Yeah i agree mate, i have a Laptop ( Alienware M17xR3 Maxed out ) and i often connect it to the Tv with HDMI to get a bigger picture, and it would beOriginally Posted by Captain-Ukraine Go to original post
