Two heroes from each faction are gender locked, according to this Gamespot article.

I'm kind of disappointed that it's two and not the one hybrid (like I thought). I wanted to have my fem-Warlord and beat people to death with my shield.

Oh, well. Still probably going to be my main. And if he isn't, fem-Zerker all day.
