Are there certain Rankings/Stages of the Prize Rankings that, once achieved, you can't be bumped down from? I've noticed that once you hit Prize Rank-15 you don't seem to fall back any lower than that if you lose Challenges. Are there higher-Level Stages that do the same thing?

If you make legends, you cant lose Legends that season (its why some legends will "give away wins" to help others make legends).

Ranks lower than 15 dont lose rank (so low a rank they are prevented from losing rank, to help noobs progress)

Everywhere else . . .you can lose rank by losing.

I thought that it was where you started the current season (not always 15, at least not for everyone)

You start a new season depending on your rank on the previous one.
Xitooner is right, up to level 15, you don't lose rank, only stars.
