Clever AI going behind the treasure room door to not get killed

Okay ... before starting, i'd like to thanks the guy who once said let's implement the "Screen Name" notion in our network

Let's people who have no Screen Names, be screwed, looking for hours how to get one ... to finally find (on the settings menu...and not on the profile menu because reasons...) and click on the "ADD SCREEN NAME" buton to get redirected to a page where you are told to get a Screen name to continue the action ... to come back again to the same page they were on ...

    Realy?

    Moving on ...

    • Seriousness: medium/high
    • Description: it's in the title but whatever ... went into a dungeon,
[level is irrelevent (30) character level is irrelevant (30) character type is irrelevant (Knight)]
killed all the monsters exept a "youpyoup" (or whatever it's called in english) the black eye thingy that turn into an untargetable fly thing and flee, this little **** went behind the treasure room door in fly mode, got stuck there, in fly mode, didn't want to move and made me loose an hour of my life
    • Type of bug: AI
    • Steps to replicating bug: only got this bug once, wasn't able to replicate

    Hi guest-TMDBt8K7,
unfortunately there is no support/bugfixing/development for this game since almost exactly a year, so there's currently no chance to have these bugs getting fixed somehow. Creatures getting trapped in the throne room have been an issue for more than 2 years but did not get fully adressed even when support was still around. Most often high-speed creatures are trapped, Pop-eyes, Manaferatus and Stabbington. So it's probably a fault of the collision detection which most likely doesn't check the whole swept-out volume along the creature's path, but just checks the creature's bounding element at specific points along its trajectory. May also be some insane increase in the creature's velocity which has been observed too. In almost all cases there is nothing you can do. Try to kill it a few times just in case a miracle should happen but don't invest much effort, merely swallowing the loss and moving on is the better way to go.
