Well I've been playing Ghost Recon campaign again after 15 years and it is still awesome. The feeling you get easily tops most of newer shooters.Originally Posted by Flaw3dGenius23 Go to original post
I didn´t follow the game lately but your wording sounds that PVP is still possible at least.Originally Posted by UbiKeeba Go to original post
Nevertheless I really dislike the approach of being that silent about a game feature which is so important for many GR fans.
So the older campaigns were great but this looks and plays like GTA not Ghost Recon and lets face it its designed for co-op play not single player.Originally Posted by Lolssi Go to original post
As someone that has played the E3 demo of Wildlands and who has sunk more hours into GTAV than I probably should have....the two are completely different in just about every regard. The only similar element is the parachuting and maybe the driving physics. Movement, shooting, and the missions are completely different. The better comparison would be something like Far Cry which has far more cross over including the tagging/marking which was identical between the two save for UI differences.
As for the topic, I utterly despise PvP but it wouldn't be GR without it so it needs to be in. Ubisoft would be shooting themselves in the foot if it's not in. Clarification must be made on this issue.
It is almost funny how Ubisoft made all those videos for E3 ensuring us gamers that they listen to us, and are here for us, and blah blah this and that 😂 When in fact they seem more sealed than ever!Originally Posted by FuchsXSX Go to original post
With Ghost Recon games prior to FS we were allways teased with game clips and screenshots and articles in magazines. Now I know we've seen a lot of gameplay vids, but allmost every single question in here is being answered with the classic "we havent announced anything yet reply". It is beginning to look more and more like before FS's release.
Its just you're imagination, they have been nothing if not open and truthful
Wait around January and you'll get bombarded with more hype and videos galore... they will show no real gameplay but you'll just have to loved them.

But in all seriousness, that has been one of my biggest peeves, the constant and blatant lies about how they have changed... meh!
I have been telling this to people for a very long time but no one wants to listen. I told everyone here how deceitful and how Ubisoft lies out their *** about their games. But just wait, expect someone from the SPECIAL DINNER or someone who was INVITED out to Paris to chime in here to make typical excuses for Ubisoft. I can't wait for that day when people start complaining here on the forums when the game releases and I can say "Well, I told you so, but you didn't want to listen!."
To be honest, Heinz, I don't think even anyone at Ubisoft actually knows yet if PvP will feature. It is my personal opinion that the amount of hacking in R6 has taken Ubisoft by surprise and the decision to use only Fairfight as the anti cheat without a client side detection mechanism is one that they regret. Although this is all entirely optimistic wishful thinking on my part (so calm down you conspiracy theorists, put your tin foil hats back on and get back in your cupboards) I think the decision to use BattleEye on R6 and the success and good feedback it is receiving at the moment opens the way for the Wildlands team to decide if they can now implement PvP. I hold a totally unfounded belief that it has been developed along with the co-op, but the implementation decision is not yet made. I don't for one moment think Ubisoft would have struck a deal on using BattleEye on just one franchise, so this has been an inevitable obstacle.Originally Posted by he1nz Go to original post
When the decision is made then the communication and media plans to inform the player base can follow, but until then the team has little choice but to dodge the issue of PvP entirely. Of course that feeds straight into the negativity that some people like to feed on, I don't include you in that I feel your frustration, but there is little we can do about that until we know.
I remain optimistic and hopeful of course, that is my nature, and nobody will be more disappointed than me if PvP is excluded; not just for my personal gaming, but because I know the feedback and negativity it will engender will be greeted with unedifying glee by those that revel in the shortcomings of others and it will distract from the game and amplify complaining.
Once again, all this is entirely my own opinion, based on speculation and guessing!
Coop Guerrilla Mode was really epic from grfs and I don't think we should jump the gun just yet we haven't seen much to really say how dynamic of a coop experience this is going to be . I think we should remain optimistic .Originally Posted by Flaw3dGenius23 Go to original post
