Vote to kick is being abused (Still?) | Forums

Hello All,

Last night I was playing in a casual match, I literally made 2 requests with pings asking Thermite to remove some walls, he didnt move so I sighed when he got killed without trying to help, just ignored requests. I then said ,OMG! in a disappointed tone. Thats literally how it went. The next thing I got voted to be kicked! and removed from the match!

I actually had a friend in the squad with me so that left three who could have possibly voted.

I know the advice might be , ignore it, play with friends etc etc. But something needs to be done quick with this system. It is being used to grief people.

Why is it there? To remove team killers, Hackers, AFKs? Then rely on fairfight and Battleye, Pu/tkeep a time limit on AFK. Make it so when someone TKs on the second or third TK theyare removed from the match or made to sit a round out.

But letting people exploit this to grief people is NOT a solution.

Probably could have been avoided if you just kept your mouth shut. Please say more things to your teammates in a disappointed tone.

How about people who destroy you gadgets? Shooting your breach charges, shooting your Jammers. ADS's or Black Eyes..? In my experience the VTK system almost never gets abused and is only there to kick the trollers / intentional teamkillers who aren't caught by the autokick.

TBH I find teammilling to be abused way more than vote to kick. Sometimes VTK is the only way to resolve an issue.

I only saw one VTK and it was initiated by me because our Jager took forever to load and was a ping abuser on top of that (had way above 300 ping). Other than that I didn't see people abusing or even using the system and I played quite a few games on Casual today.
