Can't seem to get the ground to reappear. I can still see objects like vegetation, rocks, animals, NPCs, etc. I just can't see the patterned ground. Used to work before my upgrade but I still have the same graphics card. This happens in both Far Cry Primal and Far Cry 4.
Running Windows 10 on: i7-6950X with Titan X on the most recent driver (368.81). Have 64GB RAM and running on a 2TB SSD.
runs fine with a GTX 960 with the latest nvidia driver (win 10 Pro ) here and only a core 2 quad Q 9650 for a CPU and 8 gig of DDR 2 ram
verify your game files
To verify your files if you bought the game thru Steam ..\EXIT Steam ..right click your steam icon ..select run as Administrator
to launch Steam
then go to your Steam games library
right clik on far cry Primal
select properties
select local files
select verify Integrity of game cache
it takes a few min to do but its faster the redownloading your entire game , if its only a few files that were corrupt or installed incorrectly .... this in many cases will fix your problems
If you have the U play only Version of the game you can also verify your game files with U play
if you have the game via u play only here are instructions how to verify your game files thru their client
Again its probably best to make sure you launch Uplay as RUN as Administrator when you do a file verify

see the bottom of the page
also since you have WIN 10 launch both Steam if thats the version you have as well as Uplay as Run as ADMIN
also i'd suggest ya get and use DDU in windows safe mode .. WIPE OUT ALL your nvidia drivers
then reinstall them clean ..some times if ya keep using geforce exp to update your drivers it leaves alot of clutter as far as reg entries and other BS you really need to get rid of
and get a clean Driver install ..i never even install that geforce exp crapware anymore with my Nvidia drivers ..
just the driver , control panel and PhysX
no geforce exp or the 3d vision crapware since i do not own a 3d screen or the Nvidia 3d glasses you need to make use of that bloat they keep adding to the drivers
