What is going on? Why are we not allowed to join the alpha? This smells like you wouldn't want to invite Russian Federation but if you don't know yet then we got independent a long time ago, and still are. Similar thing happened with Borderlands, we were put under CIS countries.

Everyone got a chance to invite more friends to join the alpha and they have a warning there telling you to make sure your friends are from the following countries.

If that's true it would be possible that these countries aren't applicable for alpha invite roulette... thus we aren't... So not cool...

It could be because of it being a tech test the developers only wanted people invited from where they're holding servers so that there wouldn't be major connection problems. A lot of technical tests do this and remember this isn't Alpha/Beta. It is purely a technical test.

Alright, I see. But seems like we should be over that problem with todays technology.

In my opinion it would be best to have all possible locations in that case oO Get all bugs possible since they will have to get them sooner or later. In the next alpha/beta/gamma or whatever they would simply check if fixes works properly with players instead of scripted tests, while currently they would get the bugs later which could lenghten the debugging process. I'm dev as well so I don't see a point here oO

When servers screw up, everyone suffers no matter where they are. It's not like our countries will suddenly lose connection to the whole internet.

And how one person can screw up whole server oO At worst single game round would be screwed, at best that player would be the only one lagging (teleport, glitch and stuff, which usually happens in current multiplayer games if someone is lagging, tak battlefield for example when one of the players lags)
