FarCry Primal,
Install says it failed to download (not sure what it's downloading unless it's an update) due to no internet connection or not enough HDD space.
one TB drive, great internet speeds.
Neither is an issue for any other program except trying to install this one.
Tried with and with antivirus, same error.
Rebooted, same error
Six tries, same error, it's open so now I own it, can't return opened software,
Please tell me I didn't waste $60 on a PC game that won't load.
MSI / i7 processer / 16GB ram / NVIDIA GTX960M
I have exactly the same problem, but there is not even an error signed. It just stops to download when it reaches 7,88 GB. Every single time at the same amount, I tried a lot of times.! I have enough space on my HDD and I got quite a fast connection as well.
Pissed of that I wasted my money, I really hope there is a solution!
shut off your firewall or AV software yet ? it may be blocking ports the game needs open for connection to the uplay servers
also delete any and all files in windows temp
from a run command type in %temp%

Fixed but raises more questions...
Fix was to hook up LAN cable directly vice using WIFI. Really? WOW, but it worked...
Did not have to disable AV or firewall.
Now for the second puzzling part, why did i get two disk in the box if it downloads everything? After entering the game code, everything happened online, never used the first disk after the very beginning and never ask for disk 2. The auto-run doesn't work when you insert the disk either, all other programs I have works on auto-run. This program would only run if I opened my computer and then opened the CD and then double clicked on auto-run program.
Almost like I bought the download version on two disk set, it certainly isn't labeled that way.
Anyway, not happy with the download required part but it's finally working. Very similar to FC4 so far with different graphics/interfaces.
