Graphic and Keyboard settings reset every time I restart. | Forums

Hi,

Everytime I restart my game the graphic settings I have tried to change reset as do all the keys I've remapped.
So everytime I start the game I have to remap all the keys and in practive I can't change graphic settings because they require a restart and then reset.

Anyone else have these problems and do anyone know of any solutions/workarounds?

I have verified the game files in Uplay.

I've not had that problem myself. I think those settings are stored in your My Documents folder - there should be a My Games folder & inside that a Tom Clancy's The Division folder.
I wouldn't try changing them directly but it might be worth checking to see if they are Read-Only (right-click on them, select properties & see if the read-only box is ticked) - if it is un-tick it

I have no such folders, not under My Documents nor under the Divisions folder, no idea why. I have other Ubi games on Uplay and some of them have folders but not the Division.

I really need some help with this people. I need to change the graphic settings so I can reduce lag/stutter that makes the Dark Zone unplayable and it would be nice not to have to remap all keys everytime.

Is you game installed from DVD or is it the Steam version?
What version of Windows?

Just found this https://www.reddit.com/r/thedivision...gs_not_saving/, looks like the same issue so might be worth trying
