    I've played the demo and did 15 faults. Can't I retry the whole thing from the start with everything reseted? Because now I have access to level 0 and 1

    At the moment there are technical issues with the demo version of Trials of the Blood Dragon. The problem is that people are not getting connected to our servers properly, so they don't get the 15 global lives and access a version limited to two levels only. We are working on fixing this.

    You can learn if you're properly connected if in the levels there's a sign in the upper left corner showing the amount of lives you have left. If it says 'Demo Version', then it's a limited version that is supposed to appear only when you're out of lives.

    Be assured, that if you're getting faults while the limited version is active, they're not getting detracted from the 15 lives counter, so when the issue is fixed you'll get the proper chance to get a free game

    We had extensive testing to not let this connectivity issue happen, but unfortunately sometimes when a product goes live things don't go as planned or as tested.

    Apologies for the inconvenience.

    I'll keep you posted on the updates.

    Stuck here for 20 minutes smashing return to try and get to the next level. Is there any point in me trying to do the challenge over the last few days?

    Do you have global lives shown in the corner when completing that level? Try pressing 'Cancel' and going further. Score doesn't affect demo progression.

    @Kaiser-Panda
    Exiting the game is not considered as fault, faults count only in situations where the fault counter in the level itself increases.

    I hadn't had any confirmation about prolonging the challenge, but I will ask tomorrow

    @thizzweed
    You're welcome, glad it works

    @Megathesis
    Could you please say what message it shows?

    This is the error I am getting before even starting the demo again.

    Connection Lost
    Your connection to Ubisoft servers has been lost. You can continue playing the demo version after regaining connection. Try to reconnect now?
    CTRL retry ESC cancel

    I would add a pic but i shouldn't have to upload to a site to add here. There should be an option to add from my computer.

    Also I played through the demo 3 times with one fauit and it sees that one fault.

    Thanks.

    Had High Hopes

    After hours of downloading, I find out that the demo is bugged. Can only play the first two levels. Okay, Ubisoft put out a statement; there's no need to worry. Try again the next day, now I can't play the demo at all because it won't connect to the UPlay servers. Not a great promo, I must say.

    One step forward, two steps back.

    I went through 6 levels and 15 failures, but said that only 2 level you have to pass. Ubisoft just cheated us not fully tell what's the catch. Thank you Ubisoft, I went to download the game from torrent)

    @Eveyone who gets a 'please reconnect' message on completing the first levels - it's safe to just press 'cancel' and continue. This shouldn't happen again after. There's a very strange bug where plenty of people get a 'please reconnect' message after completing Leave No Man Behind for the first even in full version as well, which we can't reproduce on our end. That usually is a one-time occurrence and shouldn't happen anymore. So as long as you have gotten the global amount of lives everything in the demo should work fine.

    @MorphineBear, for clarification - is it the same issue as the ones some people are getting on the results screen after 'Leave No Man Behind'? Or the game doesn't connect to the servers at all? If it's the first issue, there should be no reasons to worry and you can continue the demo. If it's not, could you please specify what error/message does it say?

    @Blade-man1991.
    a) Nobody said that you need to complete 2 levels to pass the demo and complete the game, that's your assumption. The announcement, description of the demo in Uplay, and the pop-up that you see when you launch the demo clearly state that you need to complete the game/main storyline. That's not 2 levels.
    b) Not only it's not allowed to talk about illegal content by the forum rules, it's also quite unethical to do so on the developer forums.

    @Megathesis, as far as I know there's still some fixes that are in progress server-side, so hopefully this gets resolved soon. Sadly, I can suggest only two things for now: a) check your firewall settings (do other games from Uplay connect successfuly to it or it's just for Blood Dragon demo?) b) try entering the demo again a bit later.

    @Farlander1991.

    You originally introduced people astray, and not long ago changed conditions. With your hand, it is just not ethical as well as download games from torrent. Do not deceive people to buy the game, it should be their decision. If the game is really good, I can pay. But there is such a bad impression of deceptive actions.
