I searched because I'm still new but found nothing. Maybe this is already known but I'll share anyway.

Apparently the slot machine tells you what you will win on your next slot machine mission. This only happens once you have won the special prize for that slot. If you've only one the first special prize, it will only show you what you'll win next time on the first slot, if you've won all 4 special prizes it will show you everything.

After you've beat a slot machine mission you pull the lever for a prize and a pop up appears to confirm it. After you hit "ok" to clear the pop up, the prizes on the wheel reset for a brief moment before the covers come down hiding the prize wheels. Whatever is showing on that brief reset will be your next prize for completing a mission.

If you haven't won the special prize for a particular slot, you'll see it increased its chance of showing up by 1 (if it was 4x it becomes 5x) but all slots where you won the special prize will preview you next prize for completing a mission.


So, is this old news or did I discover something?

This has unfortunately been this way for a long long time, since the Stallion update if I remember right. It used to be much more broken. Your 1st set of rewards would be continuously given out for 24 hrs. This bug could be abused to our benefit if we were lucky, which we did, so naturally it was fixed quickly. However they didn't fix it completely... but there was no abuse possible, so it stayed that way.

That same-reward-for-24-hour bug could definitely be a bummer but I still remember it rather fondly, since I eventually had a combo that gave me more gems than I would use up if I spent gems to speed up the slots. I ran the wheel 80+ times that day making gems.... laughing all the time.. my wife thought I was crazy.

Alright, so old news. I just happened to notice it when I saw the 60,000 coin spot show up on the 4th wheel and then won it the next time. It made me wonder and start taking screen shots which confirmed the theory.

You were very observant to have spotted it; I'd forgotten all about it.

Yeah, still not sure why they never fixed this. It wasn't like this before the major issue where it kept giving you the same prize over and over again. When they fixed that, we got this.

I'm happy with it. I still have bikes to build so coins are still important to me

If I have 20 minutes before the 24 Hr clock resets and I see I've got a good payout coming on my next spin, I'll spend 3 gems to get it before the reset.
