Now this is just my fantasy, and will never happen. But this game is slowly dying, something has to change. I play the game on a daily basis and it happens to be the same thing over and over again these days. Rally my group together and kill off the server so we can farm dz5-6 and get the supply drops without hassle.
The most fun times however are when we are in the heat of a battle with 4-16 other players, rouges everywhere, just pure chaos. Which in my mind what the DZ was intended to be. But sadly I feel the DZ is too big. Id like to see a beta like DZ. Where we were confinded to just DZ 1 and 2. It is either put up or shut up, fight or flight. No running circles around the map for 5 minutes.
Picture no penalty for dying or going rouge. Rather just a GAINT reward for surviving a manhunt only. Now this is something I would jump on board with. Maybe even once a week they close off parts of the DZ. Say week 1 is DZ 5-6, next week its 3-4, week after its 1-2. Make it so that we can only buy the guns in the check points so we are all on an even playing field. (Also it would give me something to spend my DZ funds on) It is skill of the players over the build of them. Idk I am just throwing my ideas put there.
Maybe its me but this game is getting stale. The same old blizzards, the same old piles of bodies, the same old groups of NPCs. I have knocked over every cone and shut every car door and hood. The underground was kind of cool because it was new. But it just isn't satisfying killing computers.
Am I the only one who thinks this would be a refreshing change?
the DZ is a absolute joke. plain and simple, flawed design. Get someone down to a quarter inch of health, then instantly they have full health and full overheal. Was killed by three bullets, i have 427K toughness, 106,000 health and 75% armor, killed in three bullets!!! nothing you can even do. ita a joke! Too many cheaters, glitches, etc. Will never go in it again, it needs to be overhauled completely. nothing else to say.
DZ was fun on the first few weeks after release. Then there were penalties. Going rogue then really got your heart pumping and adrenaline going. But after they nerfed the penalties to oblivion it's just meh - no tension. No nothing. I went rogue a lot back in the day to get DZ credits - but then they introduced the DZ caches - so no point going rogue either for credits. And going rogue for loot is just stupid - loot is bad on dz.Originally Posted by appledaniel Go to original post
The dz was fun then, cause 96 percent of the gamers were not cheating, glitching and exploiting, like they are now!Originally Posted by Jaegert3ch Go to original post
