This guy (jeffnoble14) have posted excellent points about the current state of the "PVP"

    Best points in my opinion:

"1. There is no PvP in this game. The closest you get to PvP is players who know they are going to be fighting other players ambushing lower leve players who DON"T know they are about to be fighting other players until they've already been killed by said higher level players that walked up casually behind them [...] and executed them. That's not PvP [...]

    HOW TO FIX:
Seperate PvP server for PvP only. Trust me, you'll only need one server. I know you THINK you have a large PvP population. You don't. You have a large ******bag population. They are not going onto your PvP server where things are equal and fair more than once. The TRUE PvP, hard core gamer, population will rip them apart and they won't be back. If you wan't to truly give your PvP players the best possible experience, you do the following:

    1. Open up the map and let these guys have at each other. You can then divide up the map in a multitude of ways[...]
    2. Their entry fee into the PvP map is to select an Item from their inventory as THEIR PERSONAL BOUNTY. You kill them and that weapon, gear, etc. is your reward. There should be a minimum gear score to be placed as bounty based on your gear score level.
    3. Solo PvP should be a free for all, while Squad PvP should be organized in a versus format. The Squad PvP should provide a supply drop to the victors based on the average gear score of the TEAM THEY DEFEATED. You don't want 191 gear? Stop playing against 191 Squads. [...]

Once you've established an actual PvP evironment, you can then free up the DZ to actually be fun [...]"

I hope the DEV consider of this.

Note: If the DEV separate pvp - pve DZ, they should do not touch amount of players. There will be new struggle between players which have to chase NPC bosses.

I have also an idea. How about 12 players RAID DZ?!? Especially, it would be fun for Clans.

I think it would be cool to have larger groups of players.

I thought hvt's would ne far better, but, they screwed up the loot big time there too.

Doing a tough weekly and getting 3 lone star holsters got very old, very quickly. Such a waste this game is turning out to be. All because they're missing simple things... really simple things!
Lets hope to see a change since they still hope to sell DLC.
But looks like you're right, they don't give a fuçk about player feedback.

maybe, but then with harder NPC's or with smaller Loot.
Or a different solution would be that all Players join the Darkzone with the same Gear, or they can chose the equipment like in CS. But the damage of specific weapons and armor is for all the same. I bit like Dayz Epoch.

Sadly, to Massive and likely Ubisoft (unless they are outsourcing a solution to a competent developer) they will see that as 64 players who don't understand "their" game and should git gud, 3 who are on the verge of getting gud and nine people who actually got gud. It is like presenting facts to a delusional person. Your facts can't penetrate either their ego or their own delusions.

I really wish this game turned out to live up to its potential but it simply isn't going to be capable of it while Massive is in charge of regression, sorry, development. So much potential, donkey punched.

I remember the idea coming a while back to have dedicated 4v4 team deathmatch in random arena's around the city similar to CS but with MUCH greater health pools and skills, imo this would be WAY more fun.
It also allows them to stop this wired juggling act trying to balance the PvPvE arena as it is now. Like PvPvE was a grand concept, but as mentioned before it doesn't work with the balance in this game.

Then if they want to keep the DZ META, just sprinkle the DZ with higher level NPC rogue agents, that blitz the extraction zones and ****.

Happy with either fix, just so long as the DZ is opened up for people who won't go in there now, it's a waste of space for the maybe %10-20 of users that actually enjoy it.

I thinks that sample is a good representation of what the playerbase wants, but is more likely that they look at us like a "dumb minority".

A shameful waste, the dark-zone is cool but unbearable.
