Yes!
Nope.
Don't really care.
It would be goog to have some good PVE on the "light zone"Originally Posted by Pyknospex Go to original post
You have players that don't enter the DZ now because they don't like the PVP. The reason is because it is not PVP. Those same players that are not entering the current DZ would then be able to go into an area they previously have not been able to enjoy. So it has no affect on the player base that do enjoy it.Originally Posted by hausmanis Go to original post
Every MMO I have ever played I ended up investing my time into the PVP, but not in this game. It simply is not PvP.
Most commonly I have been hearing from the DZ community that the NPC's need to be nerfed so you all can get your pvp on easier. All that means to me, that you want to be able to grief non combatant players easier. The ones that are only there to farm for the mandatory credits and rank just to acquire items that are not available outside of the DZ. And it has been this way since launch. Massive's attempt to force players into playing content they don't enjoy to benefit players that do enjoy it. It is an issue and it needs to be addressed. Otherwise it is an inevitable demise for this game.
We have 2 kids of people in the DZ, the ones who go for PVP (have high end gear good rolls) and the ones who go for PVE (looking for high end gear and god rolls).
And those 2 groups will end destroying each other, since the "PVP people" wont let the "PVE People" get better gear, that will drive the PVE crowd away to incursions, HVT, etc, and the PVP crowd will have less people to fight in the DZ, while the PVE people will not engage in PVP since they can't get the gear. In that scenario, both groups will play less and less and the game dies.
If they are not doing a option to not PVP, at least they could put some good PVE outside the DZ, and not the HVT who just drops lonestar.
