    DZ needs to change!

I stopped going into the DZ. Its basically a homiecide/robbery simulator where you and strangers can group up and kill someone and steal their cookie... It wasn't so bad originally, but that changed when Massive created more incentive to kill someone. I don't like this type of game play. Personally I like PVP in the context of team matches, arenas, objectives. I don't think this world needs a game that people play to have fun and relax where you kill someone over greed...

Its really too bad cause the DZ operates like the entire map of NY & Underground should,... one of the best parts of the game.

    my opinion.

Ofcourse I meet only one player with one level higher but with much better gear and he was a bully. I had nothing, no loot, no DZ funds, he still killed me 3 times in a row. I'd punch anyone in the face who keep telling this is how it should be. No, its not and its not fun at all.
I don't like go rogue and this game don't like people who don't go rogue.
It's not PVP, its an @sshole simulator.

I think they don't really care about the players since they don't adress our concerns, not even to justify why they want to make so terrible.

I'm under the impression the devs do not care of what the player base wants from the DZ, even if it was an option. ON the steam forums, one of them didn't really say it's your fault if you go into the DZ, since the DZ community is in fact trash, it's you're fault if you enter it. That being said, I'm going to say that it's there fault. The DZ should have had from the start, the option to be pvp or pve. Should the pvp one give better rewards? no, just rewards for pvp, while the pve goes more for pve. Not hard to do, but since the RNG is crap, they should just scrap it, make a whole new loot system, not this 1-5 crap for stats and weapon damage. Should just be based on the level for that gear item, and the GS for that item.

If PvPvE version drops better loot than PvE only, I'm all for it. Otherwise it ain't gonna happen and massive is right not to listen to you crybabys. PvP only makes no sense at all, no drops, no competition, nothing to do when teams dont meet.

crybaby's, well by your definition are you not being a crybaby about others being crybaby's? maybe you should take a few minutes to try and work that one out

PvP only makes a lot of sense.

    1) PvP Only allows them to get proper balancing without the concern for how it impacts PvE
    2) Arena's that are designed for specifically balancing both teams
    3) Skills could be better balanced
    4) Players that are max level + BiS will have a proper competitive outlet
    ...

I could probably list about 15+ valid reasons that PvP should be put in the game, most of which other dev's have already discussed when they encountered the same issue with PvPvE and decided it was a bad idea.
IF they have dedicated PvP, it will allow them to fix competitive fighting faster, also YES there is a much larger portion of the community that would rather test themselves competitively, than in this weird arsehole simulator.

The idealistic option here should be a competitive multiplayer arena that rewards teams for winning battles, improve the balance and fluidity of the gunplay and have something akin to an RPG version of Rainbow Six or Counter Strike.

    ... PvP + PvPvE + PvP

that´s why the sugestion of dividing DZ servers by previous behavior is the ideal, the competitive ones will be grouped together in an organic way until they see that they achieved a level where they cannot compete anymore.
This way every gamestyle will benefit

PvP-only would actually put PvP to the test. Are you really as good as you think? If so, all you should need from it is proving you can win.

Couldn't agree more, many ideas have been put forward including a paragon matchmaking system I myself suggested. It wouldn't fix the balance issue in PvPvE though, and I understand that they have probably spent so much time trying it (in it's current itteration) now that it would be hard for them to let it go.
But people are leaving, so eventually you have to bite the bullet right?

It makes perfect sense though, as stated previously there are two groups of people, some that are going rogue alot and want to PvP and some that aren't and want to RPG, even with PvPvE enabled if you have these two groups in seperate servers, more people will enjoy it.
