Understanding PVP details haven't been released yet, I'd like to hope there will be some organization for a clan system involved.
-The map is huge enough for players to chose a clan HQ or field base location. This instance is where all of your friends can meet in between campaign missions and pvp battles if they are in the same clan. Here clan members can decide to group up to 4 to continue campaign missions, or tag along with others heading to PvP battles. There could be a tent where your clan can schedule battles with opposing clans. Have an area outside the tents for shooting range and kill house competitions. Also there could be barracks where you can have clan messages posted on a board, a clan recruitment table where a list of players applying to join and a list of players that fellow clan members have played with before and suggest to recruit can be discussed among clan leaders. The HQ could also have a flag post featuring a custom designed clan logo flag. Obviously an idea like this is a huge one.
-Another idea is to feature custom designed clan logos that is visible on your ghost that other players can see. Such as, having a logo patch on your cap, shoulder, or on the chest area of your vest.
-If anything, a clan rank system where clan leaders can promote players to higher ranks or demote them. The higher the rank, the more clan based privileges you have access to such as accepting recruitment applications, choosing a uniformed camo pattern/color for all of the clan's vests, and any other clan organizational options you can think of. Also, your rank could be displayed on your ghost and name ID during PVP so that you can see if you killed or got killed by a highly respected opposing clan member.
