I've just recently started playing Trials Frontier and absolutely love it. My only questions is in regards to "rewards" after completing a task/map. I've noticed a few times now that when getting pieces of candy for the candy loving girl, the piece of candy will show up as an "available item" on the map preview, but won't show up on the reward wheel after completing the map.

I also noticed that when completing some other 'tasks' such as collecting silver or gold medals, I'll achieve the correct time/medal but the task won't get checked off for the overall mission.

Am I missing something? Or does this problem not exist for others?

Candies are not on the loot wheel. They are hidden on the track itself.

Not entirely true. Initially the candies do come from the loot wheel. It's not until further into the story that they become hidden on the track.
