Huge Factor? well, for some I guess.Originally Posted by Sean.Fiero Go to original post
Changing your character is one thing, playing dress up is a totally different thing but again... I understand on games such MMO or RPGs.
To me, personally, I am more interested in looking ahead to see if my head is going to be blown by an enemy than watching the back of my character to see if the shirt matches my pants and boots
I see this more of an option for MP than for Solo Campaign in my opinion.
Well, if you say so, it seems you are more involved in the intricacies of the development than I am, and I am all for it if this would be an advantage on the gameplay and, as said before, if it won't deter from polishing and/or making a more enjoyable core game.Originally Posted by Cortexian Go to original post
Hopefully we can change their appearance and weapons at our discretion.Originally Posted by Magsmp31 Go to original post
Absolutely, been hoping to hear news about this for a while. I was happy with the trailer they just released but If I cant customize my team it will be strange. If I decide to go in hard, full plate carrier/helmet/the whole nine yards and buddy beside me is wearing a plaid shirt... it'll take me out of the immersion for sure
This would be perfect for playing off line and customizing the AI characters to look like the players' characters that you would frequently play online with so that when they join on you, it's more seamless. For instance, I play with my brother and his wife on a daily basis, so at least allow players the option to add a female AI teammate that would be replaced by someone who is actually playing a female character.
Of course, for this to occur, there would have to be a way to select an AI teammate and assign it to a friend that would always swap out with just that AI character with their character. This is also useful if you only play with 1 or 2 friends, you can select which favorite AI teammate(s) won't get swapped out when your 2 or 3 friends join in.
