FtA.Gaming is looking for a few new agents to join their Division team. We started out with a fairly large group of players but as the issues with the game persisted, all but a dedicated few lost interest.
FtA is a relaxed, casual gaming community with a few games being played competitively - currently that's only Insurgency and Overwatch. FtA was started by three buddies who were all in another "clan"/community together and decided they were going branch off and do their own thing after learning the things they liked and didn't like from the time they spent in other communities. There are no ranks and never will be. We try to be as diplomatic as possible, involving everybody in decisions that could potentially impact them. Most importantly, we all have perspective and that perspective is that no matter how serious you take gaming, it is just that...gaming. Real life happens, for some more often than we'd like, and because of that, we will never have any requirements for play time, "online time", time in voice comms, etc. Our only requirement is you remain mature, don't be too dooshey (outside of the standard Internet trolling, which we love to do) and just have a good time. We do occasionally stream on Twitch and most of us record our games to put together funny montages that we post on YouTube and Vimeo.
We own several game servers as well as our own Mumble server that we use for voice comms for all of our games. We also have forums, but due to lack of adoption, they are down at the moment. As we grow, our plan is to utilize them more to make coordinating game nights that much easier. Lastly, we also have a Facebook Group that we're all members of. We are a very close-knit community and the majority of us have become great friends thanks to it. There is no pressure to join this group whatsoever - it is entirely optional.
As for The Division specifically, we enjoy a good mix of PvP/PvE...in times like this, following the 1.3 update, we are in major PvE/farming mode but if we are in the DZ, we love good PvP fights and have no problem going rogue or hunting rogues. I play the most so I will likely be the primary contact for The Division Team of FtA. I am a business owner who works from home so I am usually online a LOT. I am based on the east coast of the US and usually login around 10-11am, play until a little after lunch, take a break and then I am back on after dinner until my body tells me I need to sleep. But again, there is no requirement for play time or "online time". Simply painting the picture that you do not have to worry about whether somebody is going to be online - I probably will be and if I am not, one of the others will be. As for your personal gear score, Player Level, Dark Zone Level, Underground Level, etc., we don't care. You can have just purchased the game yesterday or been playing since the beta - we welcome everyone. In fact, I'd be happy to help anybody level if you have a lower character - I will be leveling a new character of my own very soon.
If this sounds like a community you'd be interested in hanging with, all we require is the following:
- Maturity is key. As for age, 25+ is our preference; however, if you are at least 21+ and interested, connect with me and we will chat. We simply like to keep the immaturity to a minimum to keep the drama in check.
- You must have thick skin and cannot take things too seriously. We are not a politically correct bunch. Deep down we all have respect for eachother and genuinely care for one another, but we talk about a wide range of things and there is ZERO censoring the majority of our members.
- You must have a microphone, speak fluent English and you must have the Mumble VoIP Client. You can get it at www.mumble.info.
- While affiliated with FtA.Gaming, whether with tags in your name or just in a group with us, you will NEVER use ANY form of cheat or hack. We generally disallow even macros but in some games we will make exceptions where the developers do not explicitly disallow it. This is generally discussed among everyone and a decision is made.
- Be cool, relax, grab a beer and have fun.
If this sounds like something you'd be interested in being a part of, my contact information is below or just reply to this post and get the conversation started.
