If SVD get higher base damage then everyone would ditch every DMR and stick to this weapon, why? because SVD bloom act like pre-nerfed balanced talent on DMR. My SVD has Toxic and deadly talent, and now i never use M1A again simply because i could quickly switch between target, applying both sentry and blind debuff way faster than when i use M1A.
Balancing Borderlands type pve weapons and gear is super hard.. If they actually made weapons in pvp balanced across the board like say BF CoD and Counter strike the pvp would be far far more competitive but nope..Originally Posted by ejnt Go to original post
I was solo. The NPCs were relentless and the shotgunners do insane damage even with 75% damage mitigation. The Historian helped much because it helped me pick them off from a distance and the Aug was used to mop up the stragglers. The 229 assault rifle just did not do enough damage in enough time to keep the NPCs at bay
