    2. One of the biggest complaints about this game is that "95% of what we get is garbage" Well 95% of what we get is garbage because 5% of the gear is ridiculously OP, and PvP is unbalanced....so everyone wants the same small number of weapons, armor pieces, and talent combos.

If you want OTHER gear to become relevant....and there to be a wider variety of viable play styles...then these OP gear items HAVE to be brought back down to earth. There is simply not way around it. If everything's buffed, nothing's buffed.

    3. Look at what gear sets are being added to the game for the DLC....I dont' think the Tanktician build is going to dominate the DZ for much longer. I think players will have enough firepower to bring down Tanks. But there should be another WILD swing towards the nosebleed levels of DPS that we saw under patch 1.1.
What kind of shrooms are you popping if you think any of the new sets will buff our damage above what 3-2-1 striker/sentry/savage does. First of we're losing 25% chd and ~30-40% HS damage if we want to run a vintage SMG and 3-2-1. Or we lose either 50% chd or ~55% HS damage if we chose to run 5pc Striker/Sentry. If we use a new SMG we lose 25% chc but gain either 25% chd but lose ~30-40% HS damage. Or gain 50% chd but lose ~55% HS damage. The huge HS damage loss is because Sentry's call is a multiplicative buff rather than additive. So we are going to lose damage from the sets, also from the 10% nerf to aug/vec and the new GS229 smgs with CHD instead of CHC will do about 8% Less damage than our old GS204 weapons due to the nature of CHC vs CHD. I am however talking from a strictly PvP standpoint. For PvE we will se a slight damage buff but not anything big. Peace out

People keep comparing the nerfs to what happened in Destiny. And they're right. But what they're missing is, just like in Destiny, these devs are trying to fix things in the worst possible ways that will not work, and any player could tell them that if they'd listen.

Example: the thorn was overpowered in destiny. So everyone used it. Therefore, it was too popular for the wrong reasons and was nerfed. It was nerfed into being a piece of **** gun. The ONLY thing they had to do to it was lower the fire rate. That's it. Instead they nerf range, damage, perks, etc.

This will happen over and over again because things are only "overpowered" relative to something else. So that something else will be the next "op" thing.
