1) the striker/tactitian/whatever sets still seem to be better than the newer stuff. Maybe less special, but sure as hell more versatile.
2) everyone will still get high GS weapons and gear sets
3) having or not having the underground doesnt mean anything, unless the new sets are crazy OP, which I highly doubt.

So overall, at this point, I'm saving for other games, and am not gonna buy it, cause I hate the boring lightzone of this game, and can bet underground will be something boring as well and it will never reach the DZ excitement, which is the only reason I play.

There hasn't been any announcement from Massive on the details. You are speculating the outcome. If Massive lets those that DID NOT BUY DLC to acquire higher then 240 gear then the DLC is an absolute rip off. Season pass holder most definitely got ripped off if these statements are correct.

Wait before purchasing any DLC would my suggestion. Wait to see what it has to offer. You know the game you bought in the first place and the track record so far. It might just be absolutely not worth the money. Wait for some reviews and feedback.
