240 geared players on lower brackets

Looks like there is a new way to glitch yourself to the lower dz brackets with gearscore way over 200. Been running into 216 gs and even higher gs players there now very often. How the remvoed? I have a theory of how to to do it but haven't tested it yet.

As long as you do not leave the dark zone checkpoint you can use any NEW gear that you find in supply drops or extract.

All you have to do is "game" your score. You need to keep the combined gear score between your 6 pieces of armor, your primary weapon, and all items in your gear box below 1400. Many go in with 5 pieces of 240 gear, and a 182 gun...and enter the DZ in the 161-200 bracket. Once they're there, they go to a vendor and buy a decent piece of armor for their last piece, and voila, you're alreadoy over GS 200, and still in the 161-200 DZ...and relative to the rest of the players that actually f'ing BELONG there, you're OP as ****.

And it's outright an exploit. No quotation marks as the poster above used. That extra edge is complete bull****. Basically it says "the 201+ DZ is entirely too f'ing hard for me, so I'm going to drop down and harass lesser players by farming THEM and the piece of cake NPC's that I vaporize in an 1/8th of a second, thus hampering anyone else's farming efforts."

They need to base gear scores off of the sum of the gear all of your characters possess, regardless of where that gear resides. People trolling lower DZ's with ridiculous load outs is just one more thing that's sending this game to hell in a handbasket.

Not off all the characters imagine the poor guy or gal that gets a nomad piece that pushes them to the 201+ bracket, Should be based off the DPS and Toughness Potential of their gear that they have in and on the current character's stash and backpack.

I can agree with this. Gear score is such a bull**** manner in which to group people...especially since there's a lot of 214 gear that's better than 240...and even two pieces of the exact same gear, at the exact same gear score are no where NEAR similar to one another depending on the attributes or talents that are rolled on them.

Well, yes. 201+ is too hard for me. My life philosophy is why do something the hard way when the easy way gives you the same result?

So i went to the 0-160 bracket. I dont harrass players, i help them when i can. Im anti pvp. If u shoot, i let you kill me. I dont care , i just respawn.

Ive been in dz04 05 for 8 days, 5 hrs a day. Ive counted 7 players in dz04 and 1 in 05 ive ran into.

No one comes up here. I clear supply drops every single time. I even wait for other players to show up. 2 finally did yesterday. I spoke into mic " u guys can have this". And i left.

No one comes up here. All the mayhem is in dz01 and 02.

And the extra gear set does help.

The mayhem is in 01 and 02 because the people going rogue are the most colossal pussies of all time. Everyone that goes rogue in 1 & 2 should have the word f4gg0t floating over theirhead. They don't want to go rogue in the higher zones because the NPC's are too difficult to deal with, nevermind the players that are up there are generally better if they themselves are equipped to handle the NPC's up there.

Everyone wants low lying fruit. Change gear to play in lower DZ bracket. Play in lowest zones of that DZ bracket. Outnumber those you go rogue on. Seriously. It's amazing how cowardly some people are in this game.
