i have noticed alot more players online the last days, when i got the game about a month after the release there where alot of people everywhere. right before the 1.2 update and after the player base was reduced alot, now i think alot of people are coming back on to grind for some materials and credits before the 1.3 update, 2-3 weeks after the 1.3 update the player base would probably decrease again if it dosn't add some tweaks to the DZ and the game in general..
kinda doubt it. i personally think matchmaking has always been fast. it often depends more on time of day than overall population. its hard to say that you see more people in game so there is a bigger population. were talking about thousands of people, not just 40-50 (or even 100) that you might see when you go into the game. OP is looking for something official showing # of gamers, not more vague observations. if theres a way to see what the actual population is for the division that would be helpful.
otherwise i dont think the player base is growing in any substantial way. at least not to recover this game from its steep decline. its dying pretty quick, and I'm sad to say i dont think the DLC will save it.
What's the odds of seeing the same people in the game? Better than finding a good 240 striker vest and 3 stat striker 240 holster I bet. The only dude who Ive banter ed with in the dz after 27 days of playing happened to matchmake into my group. He left immediately, I was bummed, I was going to try make ammends. Itd be cool to get an idea of the number of people on the game daily for each system. I've ran into the same names quite a few time now.
When you say dying, does that mean you believe the server will be shutdown or are you referring to a small contingent is all that will remain.? I can understand the game needing a lot of work, but Stage 4 cancer, just like that?Originally Posted by phoreman Go to original post
While I don't think The Division will ever fit the billing that was sold, I do believe it can become an overall decent game. Let's see what the the Paid stuff plays like before we put the game on life support.
