Perhaps we'll have an announcement this weekend or next week if we're lucky. Else Eiddard's predictions may be true.

About the Open Beta, I hope they announce it, but I don't think it will be playable until the E3 ends, If they do announce an open beta I would expect it to be 2 weeks - 1 month after the E3, since it would be a pain to have part of your development team attending and managing the E3 while having to handle an Open Beta.

I would expect it to be under NDA, but I have no way to confirm that. My thinking is that they might to more than one round of testing, and if so than the first at least being under NDA would, to me, be most logical.

In my experience of testing alphas are almost always under NDA.

I completely understand why it would be necessary, its just a shame as someone who didn't get into the first alpha i know how frustrating it can be, i know that there will be a handful of people who get into the alpha that wont necessarily give feedback or even want to play the game as bad as others. Maybe something like a developers alpha vlog or stream will help gain more feedback and allow those who don't get in but really wanted to see the game and what they can expect from it. Having the developers produce the content would also allow for content moderation so that nothing gets out that they wouldn't want to.

Hehe Sir_Beefing. This isn't about the game so I can speak about it, we had a dude complain about the game on the forum, he was in the Alpha, oh man the guy claimed the game is bad and his only reason for that opinion was that he had a mental disability. Now how does it feel when someone like that gets into the Alpha of a game you are excited for, but you don't.
