    OG Ghost Recon Maps

I wanted to start a poll to see if there was even an interest in playing all the maps from ghost recon, desert siege and island thunder if they were completely re skinned and textured in the new engine making them current generation. I know i for one if they did this and gave us all the old game modes would spend a great deal of time playing these in multiplayer/pvp because of how great these maps were and still work today for matches and even with the TPS/ADS hybrid game. So let me know down below of what you think if its something you would love to see in a future DLC/Expansion or not and why you would or wouldn't play it and enjoy it.

I loved the game modes and the maps of older GR games though I did'nt played PVP too much because I discovered the game after.
The fact is that I think all evolve and with vehicules we can get some intresting new game modes.
For maps, it would be fun to find the same layouts of some best maps of older games but in the bolivian environment.

It's why I choosed the third option of the pool. (If I not missunderstanded what are your categories )

Well my idea behind it would be for them to either create a mod or do a whole DLC expansion even if it was 60 bucks if it included all the maps from the 1st game redone in the new engine looking all brand new and with the current generation graphics with all the game modes from that game. I also wouldn't mind playing new game modes on these maps but yea you understood it just fine, same old maps but with new and fresh game modes for these maps. I think you could take many of the old settings/buildings and put them in the new setting i think aside from a few key maps that would just be weird like the large russian snowing map but many of them could work in the background of the new game.

Why not just release all the old games completely remastered for the latest generation of PC's and Consoles a bonus package with Wlidlands........ In fact I would just buy every one of the old games if they were re-released on their own.....

    :-)

Remastering games requires resources and staff allocated to it, those things are not free. Including remastered copies of games for free has zero return on investment.

    Won't happen, sorry.

No one said they wanted anything for free, DLC or otherwise as we as gamers would happily buy them or pay for the DLC remastered content!

Very few people would buy them.

This is why games don't get remastered for the purpose of sale. It's been tried in the industry before, and it has failed to deliver a return on investment in every instance I'm aware of.

Well i think you highly under estimate the ghost recon community because i think if they completely redo like 20 of the best maps released 5 at a time people would pay 5 or 10 bucks per pack but thats just my opinion. The ghost recon community is also the ones who did custom maps giving us over of a 100 maps to play on in the first game and were used quite a bit so i think they could do well if the game is good enough to bring back many of the OG players.

How is GTA5 not considered a success? They got people to pay $60 for a PS3 game, and then several months later, got them to pay $60 again, for a the same game, with more grass and tree detail?
